JFA, he was being touted as our next big thing prior to his injury… Apart to partake in a World Cup and playing for Newcastle, after two years on the sideline that fire has burnt out, if he begins playing first team football somewhere again in January or next summer it will resurface.

Mooy and Rogic are definetly our current hot prospects and I believe both could make the step up from the championship/Scottish league.

Merry Christmas to all NUFC fans all over the world. Now on transfers, I would definetely go for HBA and Schneiderlin, but on loan with option to buy them, they will bring a lot of quality and different options to our team…you can say HBA is a bad apple, but he can achieve big things when playing and Rafa should know that, and is loved at St.James…Schneiderlin is the type we need, great holding midfielder…we don´t need others for now…

Now some comparison, for WWSBR or something…
first of all I like Gayle as a player, but you sometime talk about him as he is Cristiano Ronaldo and Mitrovic as totally shite…so here is EPL level…
    Gayle…23/7, 25/5, 16/3….64/15…1 goal in every 182 minutes and Gayle has also 1 assists in his 64 games…so thats created 64/15+1…every 170 minutes 1 goal….
Mitrovic…34/9….1 goal in 235 minutes…has 4 assists so that means 34/9+4…created 1 goal every 162 minutes….so that is hardly a big difference, also I have to say, Mitro is younger and is from other country and played in team that struggled a lot last year…that is because you always say that Gayle is better player and so on, I don´t say Mitro is better now, but has bigger potential than Gayle and they can be both useful for us, I think Gayle is better suited to Championship, where he is quicker than most, but Mitro is better suited to EPL, when he is stronger than lot…but I am happy with both of them in NUFC shirt…

I know it gets tense at times on the blog but it’s seldom boring.

We’ve had our set backs over the years but it finally looks we are genuinely on the up.

Here’s to a shiny new future for our team, cheers.

Don’t know how Rafa had the time to visit 52,000 homes last night and thousands more. Great PR that.
I’ve opened his pressie and found a warm smile, a sense of pride , loads of smiling faces along the Scotswood Road and hope for a magnificent season for all concerned with NUFC.
Thanks Rafa – Happy Christmas to you and yours – especially the family who convinced you to stay.

Seasons Greetings to all and HWTL
