Darlow man of match, says it all, with all our possession!
Dummett and Anita poor- Anita trying to win headers against a 6ft plus player – braindead?
Clark missed a sitter, he and Lascalles must be in competition with 1 eyed Jack for most sideways and backwards passes! And why do they run awayfrom the opposition when they are attackingdown our centre – like the parting of the sea!

Ginger Jack must still have a problem with 1 eye – the 1 for the forward pass!
Hayden was probably our best outfield player.
Diame did 1 or 2 good things early on, then disappeared!
    Gouff and Ritchie both awful!
Gaye nearly scored -great save, then kept coming too deep.

The best team on the day won. Their tactics were spot on. They harried, hustled and bullied our players. They gave no quarter and benefited from the ref’s leniency. Other refs would have waved at least one red card Their attacks were quick and incisive.

Of us, we sorely missed Shelvey. So many pundits and commentators have said so many times this season that he has orchestrated games much like an American football quarterback. No shame should be attributed to Colback or Hayden as they (or anyone else at the club) has the range of skills and attributes that Shelvey has.

This defeat may be one of many during Shelvey’s enforced absence I regret to say unless Benetez can come up with alternative tactics to compensate for Shelvey’s absence.
