Can Newcatsle Get Back To Their Winning Ways At Birmingham?

Newcastle visit Birmingham City on Saturday afternoon after losing two of our last three games and manager Rafa Benitez will be hoping the lads can get back to their winning ways.

As captain Jamaal Lascelles said earlier this week it doesn’t matter what competition it is this Newcastle team just wants to win the game and it would be good to get a win and maybe get a good winning streak going.

We are hoping Newcastle can have a good run in the FA Cup this season – for a change.

I’m still baffled re. the offside goal. As far as I could see the goal was scored from an onside player.

I know there was an offside player who tried to head the ball on (Gayle?) but I don’t think he made contact with it.

I couldn’t see how he was effecting play otherwise as none of their players were positioned to prevent the goal.

For the record Adam Armstrong chose himself to go to Barnsley – the club did not force him to go.
He decided. He has a flat there and his girlfriend goes to Uni in Newcastle. So not too much dsitance between Barnsley and Newcastle.
Benitez said he did not have enough experience – so he was never going to get a game this season.

It doesn’t look as if he’s gonna get much experience sat on the bench I hope rafa has pushed for more game time for him or imho we should have called him back and shunted Perez to the curb.

    In rafa we trust.
