Rafa has said it was a cut that Mitrovic received on his knee and that the lad has been taken to the hospital and the doctor is with him.
The manager says we’ll just have to wait and see how bad the injury to the Serbian International is.
Rafa thought the absence of Mitro so early on had a negative impact on the game and that we had control of the game early on but we lost control – which has not been unusual over the last few games.
Aleksandar Mitrovic receiving treatment
This is what Rafa said after the game:
“It was a cut.” “He went to hospital. It was obviously not very good, because we had to substitute him straight away.” “We will see how long he is out.”
“We have to wait.” “He’s been to hospital and he’ll come back then we’ll see.” “It depends on the doctor.”
“We will see how he is, but we were thinking before and it is the same situation.” “For him it is a blow.”
“Hopefully, he will be fine, but in terms of the transfer window, we were not considering anything and hopefully it will be the same.”
“To lose Mitrovic meant something.” “Not ideal but at least we are still in the draw.”
“We had the control and we were dominant then we started giving them the chance to pass the ball and lost control.”
“When you have players who haven’t played for a while the tempo and intensity was not easy.”
“We had to make substitutions but the first one changed it for us.”
