Sky Sports pundit David Prutton seems to have taken over the predictions for the Championship since Ian Holloway got a real job back managing Queens Park Rangers.
And David has been fairly accurate in his predictions too.
David Prutton – Sky Sports pundit
He doesn’t think Newcastle will get all three points tomorrow at Griffin Park against Brentford and this is how he sees the game going as reported by Sky Sports:
“Newcastle are missing Jonjo Shelvey. He sets the tempo, direction and tempo of their play.”
“Shelvey brings the best out of Matt Ritchie and Dwight Gayle.” “He’s absolutely imperative to the way they play.”
“They’ve yet to win in 2017 and that may continue here.”
“This is will be a tough game at Griffin Park for Rafa Benitez’s boys.”
“Brentford are a young team, who on their day, can give anybody a game.”
David predicts a 1-1 draw and that is not what we are looking for tomorrow – we need a win.
With Reading having lost 1-0 at home last night to Holloway’s QPR it’s a chance to go 9 points above Reading in the league table even if they will still have a game in hand over us.
And only 60% of our fans think we will win this game tomorrow.
