Brentford 1 Newcastle 2 – Video Of Goals For Overseas Fans

Here are all three goals today as Newcastle hung on with a courageous performance at Griffin Park when the lads saw out 9 minutes of stoppage time with Karl Darlow making several outstanding saves for us today.

Goals from Dwight Gayle (19)  and Daryl Murphy (79) were just enough to give us a very valuable 3 points and overtake Brighton & Hove Albion at the top of the table after Chris Hughton’s side lost 2-0 at Deepdale.

But we have lost Dwight Gayle, Isaac Hayden and Vurnon Anita to injury today so that’s not good news at all.

Dwight Gayle scores first goal before going off injured 🙁

We’ll all be sweating on the leg injury to the mercurial Dwight Gayle.

Here are the highlights which should play around the world.

You have to think of something to relieve some of this built up stress

I take back what I said about Darlow’s mistake – comedy of errors by the defence.

That build up for the second goal though.

That was some pass from perez off the outside of his foot for Murphy to get in on goal, anyway work calls have a good night lads .

I have a suspicion that Gayle may have had a training mishap which was kept under wraps – with Rafa telling him to give it his best shot and to come off as soon as he felt anything – hence the lack of consternation by the coaching team.
