Oxford 3 Newcastle 0 – Video Highlights

Here are the lowlights from yesterday’s game when we crashed out of the FA Cup 3-0 to Oxford United.

It’s 2006 since we reached the 5th round and played an FA Cup tie in February.

🙁 🙁 🙁

Do you think the reporter is an Oxford United fan?

But let’s tell the truth – Oxford really deserved their win after we missed our chances in the first half and defended like schoolboys in the second half.

I come here because I want us to lose<<<<< Jesus F Christ.

Typical deluded fans with selective memories to build their case.
I want us to lose so much that I go into a rage and anger when we lose to the likes of Oxford.

    Well done bright spark.

    Kids these days.

How ANYBODY can justify a no cup run, is just plain idiotic. Tge fact that Ashley might have forced Rafa to do this is pure insanity.

Enjoy not winning a thing for a very very very long time.

Promotion promotion promotion promotion… and then what?
We get promoted, what will be your sad excuse then ?

Are we going to win the PL ?

    Riiiiigghhtt.

    Feel ill…

Rafa<<<< we want to win something…

Not with that hopeless tram you don't.

So sick of never trying year in year out. His real target was the efl cup, we got beat by ***** hull. That was thar in his mind.

Good luck in the PL next year and not winning a thing.

Mitrovic doesn’t look very athletic which maybe due to lack of games but his athleticism seems to be an issue.
The penalty take was poor – almost arrogant as his run up looks too short and he drags the shot which allows a good save by their keeper.

It was clearly a makeshift team and the only good that has come out of the match is that Rafa has a clearer view of squad limitations.

    Gorgonzola.

‘Good luck in the Pl next year’.
You’re counting your chickens a bit there aren’t you ?
With two days left in the window, and no back up for Shelvey, he only needs a six week lay off through injury, a suspension or simply a loss of form, and we’re fcuked.
A seven point cushion can disappear in a matter of half a dozen games, and with twenty or so games left, we could finish well out of the top two.
Rafa’s right to say he needs to strengthen the squad before the end of this window, not to prepare for the Pl next season, but to insure promotion this season.
If he can’t get what he wants, don’t count on promotion.
