Pundit Backs Brighton Over Newcastle

Sky Sports pundit David Prutton is usually fairly accurate with his predictions in the Championship this season.

So let’s hope that’s not true for tomorrow’s games as he thinks Brighton will beat Burton Albion at home and Newcastle will have¬†difficulty at Molineux and only come away with a draw.

David Prutton – Sky Sports pundit

This is what David has written for Sky Sports:

“There’s an opinion that when you’re the home team you have to go after the game but Wolves will need to be solid against Newcastle.”

“As hit and miss as Paul Lambert’s side can be, I’m backing them to get a draw against the promotion pace-setters.”

“Brighton had that thrilling draw against Brentford after a disappointing performance at Huddersfield and it feels like we haven’t seen Chris Hughton’s side stumble often this season.”

“At home, though, and against a team that had a question mark over their manager following Nigel Clough’s link to Nottingham Forest.”

“I think Brighton will get the job done.”

Wolves have been up and down of late losing at Burton last weekend after winning at Liverpool, but we think they will be up against the Magpies tomorrow, but we still hope we can get the win to stay top.

Here’s how the Championship table¬†stands at the moment.

Off topic and putting rivalries aside full marks to Jermaine Defoe for going to see young Bradley in hospital – a really touching photo.

He wasn’t very accurate with his Derby prediction and to be fair I’m sick of hearing his crap. I want to win even more now, unbeaten til the end of the season and leave him pundeting where he’s always belonged.

This Prutton fellow has not aged a day in years, or is it the same picture?

Anyways, forwards with the bus, and back to multiple mind-washing posts salivating over Rafa Benitez – blog God – praise his name.

Nothing to fear going to Wolves.
They are 18th, and we’re well into the 2nd half of the season. They’ve lost 2 of their last 3 league games, and they have it coming from us this season.

welshgeordie9 when did Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher player in the championship??
David Prutton has years of experience in lower league football you may not like or agree with his opinions but the lad does have the credentials to give an honest opinion !!!!

our away form has been good all season lets just hope the tricky spells at home and in the press haven’t rocked that away form confidence,as we have a run of games that could go a long way to deciding where we finish this season…..time to “man up” and graft till the end of season, not bothered if its not pretty, just show some fight, backbone and determination….a few goals would make things a bit easier in the last ten mins of games as well!lol

According to the Chron, Paul Lambert’s told his players not to focus on the game and not Shelvey and events that led to his recent ban. Oh yeh?

I hope that Rafa has a word with the ref to get him to look out for provocation by Wolves’ players.

He might have a lot of experience but what’s he won, should pick ex players that’s won the league or won automatic promotions.

Prutton doesn’t know as much as we do and anyway he just sits on the fence each week so I don’t know why anyone should listen to him! It’s non news!
