Rafa’s Sky Interview After The Game – Great Defending – Video

Here’s Rafa Benitez’ Sky Sports interview after the 1-0 win at Wolves today and Rafa said it was not an easy game but we did have some decent chances in the second half.

But Rafa was very pleased with the defense who kept a second successive clean sheet.

I can see the most recent comments on the dashboard, but not under the articles. Must be a glitch.

I guess there are too many post today. The system must have gotten use to the slow between game routine.

Good win but we were pretty flat nothing up top and Shelvey wasn’t on the ball enough but Wolves did nothing to punish us

7 or 8 points from 3rd now? And essentially 2 points on Brighton aye not bad eh

I hope Gayle is back for next game and takes his spot back we’ve missed him as much as we missed Shelvey

Howay Lads! Any win in this league is good and when you restrict the home team to the first shot on target in the 86th minute you know it wasn’t lucky!

    WWSBRD,

That is how we must look at it. As bad as we played, we eneed the weekend one point further away from third.

We’ve had similar performances before when gayle has been in the team. When he’s back we will still have the underlying creativity issues and game control.

Reckon Ed is tinkering with his WordPress settings. Maybe he think Ian Toon is a blog hacker.

Gayle will score goals and we play much better when he’s up top

I’m not denying that but when he’s back, we’re not suddenly going to just start playing better. We’ve had a number of games this year where gayle has played and we’ve had similar performances as today.

We haven’t had Gayle and Shelvey in the same team since before Christmas and Gayle offers far more of an outlet up top

My concern for next season if we’re promoted is even the weaker sides in the PL have so much more quality than us and yet we are the best team in the championship. We’re gonna have to spend a fortune when promoted and I hope Ashley is aware of this. I’m hoping Rafa has told him hence the “temporary” freeze in January!
