In the next four games starting at home against Bristol City this afternoon it will be interesting to see just how much Rafa rotates his team as these next four matches are crunch matches.
After Bristol City we have Brighton, Huddersfield and Reading all away from home in an 11 day stretch starting on Tuesday night.
The results of those games could determine just how easy or difficult promotion will be for Newcastle this season and we are hoping we can do (very) well in the next four games.

And we have Matt Ritchie on 9 yellow cards and Jack Colback on eight and if they pick up 10 yellow cards before March 12th then they will be suspended for the following two games.
Rafa explained what his approach would be to the local press yesterday as he said this as reported in the Chronicle:
“It is one game at a time.”
“When you play two or three competitions you need to think about all these things. When you’re in one competition, even when the games are close it depends how they feel.”
“Maybe you have players playing a lot of games in a short spell of time who say they feel fine but they can’t give you the same level as someone else.”
“Then you would maybe change. Other players recover very quickly from games, so that is something you would think about.”
“We are monitoring them, we have our tests. We will keep an eye on them and pick the team that will be the sharpest on the day.”
“We will pick a team to win against Bristol City – not to think about what might or might not happen.”
“After the game, we will look at who is available to us.”
This is the team we think Rafa could start this afternoon with two changes – Christopher Atsu coming in for Matt Ritchie and Ayoze Perez in for Mo Diame.
