David Fox has been one of our avid readers for a number of years and I am trying to help him out with his new business.
You can buy T-shirts and Hoodies from David here.
My latest bone scans and CAT scans were completed this week and I met with my oncologist Dr. Dhruva to go over the results.
The stage four cancer remains stabilized and hasn't spread over the last six months.
I was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer in early 2017 after being in remission for six years.
There is no cure for stage 4 cancer - but there are treatments which attempt to prolong life.
I am upbeat with the results and remain in awe of the doctors and nurses at the Rex Cancer Center here in Raleigh, North Carolina
It's truly humbling to see how inspiring they are with their patients.

One of our avid readers Kacper Tylenda from Poland was the person who came in during April, 2017 and redesigned this web-site from top to bottom.
We think he did a fantastic job to modernize the site with the roll-out on Thursday May 18th surprisingly smooth.
I am so appreciative of his help.
Kacper is starting his own business in web-design so if you want a website built or know of people who want to redo their sites in any way – here’s his portfolio.

Comment #2Our target now should be to match or better 09/10
102pts and +55 GD
Remember we went into overdrive about this period last time round, hopefully the same is happening now and we burst through the finish line stretching out the lead all the way.
8 wins 2 draws and 1 loss would equal the pts tally, can we do it?

Comment #3It is funny how perception works. It feels like we are sweating out every game. Imagine how the others below must feel. But I guess they do not have the added pressure of expecting their team to go up.

Comment #4Hail, I had predicted 97 before these two games, so your total is not unreasonable, but I suspect less.

I am just back from the game
That was the best defensive performance I hav seen from a Newcastle team in over forty years of watching the toon
I am not sure I would describe it as sweating rather calculated

Comment #6Great win and result defended really well, having said that it was an awful game from our perspective to watch. We very rarely managed to keep the ball at all or string a couple of passes together.
It really shows how much of a squad Rafa needs to build for the Prem to be outplayed so much by a championship team, this team would never cut it in the Prem 90% of it are top championship players max. I for one can’t wait to see what team we have next season especially as there will be no Colback in it.

Comment #7The team appears to have gained in experience, maturity and self belief. Kicking on from here to a really big points tally is well on the cards now and that would further strengthen Rafa’s leverage with the owner. Great week for the club and fans.

Listening to Rafa after the game, he is right there with you and the game went according to plan. I agree that the defense was solid and that we did not give up to many dangerous chances, but man, they had the ball a lot around, although not in, the box. I guess my nerve is not equal to Rafa and you. Would have loved to have been there, kudos to the traveling support.

Comment #12RAFA won everything today, including the bingo! Doubt there will be any winners.
I thought he would start with Murphy, and the big lad would appreciate two fast wingers, like Yelin and Atsu.
Replacing Yelin with a fit again Anita seemed obvious. Diame finished the Brighton game along side Shelvey, and
looked a natural partner.
That leaves the last place, the number 10 spot, for Ritchie, he is not fast enough to play on the wing, but he has a good football brain. Ritchie will never be a Beardsley, but who can.
I think the way the modern game is going, that a back line of 3 players, left back, centre back, and left back, will become the norm.
The wing backs will change into right and left wing halves, in-between two central half backs, one of which is an attacking player the other defensive.
That leaves three places for the attack, numbers 8, 9 and 10. In other words a centre forward, 9, supported by two inside forwards, 8 and 10.
This would be a 3 – 4 – 2 – 1 format, the six players that make up the mid-field would have to be very adaptable, moving from 3-6-1 to 3-2-4-1 to 3-2-2-3.
This is of course not a new line-up, it’s the team structure thar won 3 FA cup finals in the early 1950’s. Just a thought…

Comment #14This time of year you also get a number of games against teams with little to play for, as well as some against some obviously inferior sides.

Comment #17Really pleased with Murph too. I think we are a better overall proposition when we don’t rely so heavily on Gayle’s goals. Mitrovic and Mbemba have been a bit of a disappointment, for two players with the capacity to have given more. None the less, we’ve had others like Murphy who’ve been ready to perform when called upon.

Comment #19Reading, Fulham, Birmingham, Wigan, Burton, Shef Wed, Leeds, Ipswich, Preston, Cardiff and Barnsley…I dont see where our form is going to completely drop off in those names
We are welcoming Gayle back, Hayden is back before seasons end, Aarons sounds like he is targeting some play time this season and we have Rafa at the helm

Comment #22I don’t know if it’s just me but I would love to see sterry getting game time if we win the next couple games and pretty much guarantee promotion. He played well at Coventry and in his 2/3 appearances last season he looked at home in the premier league. Think he could be a player, just needs to be given games.

Aye wouldnt surprise me, Gayle being back alone in huge for us because we are so much better with him and Shelvey in the team (which we havent seen since before Christmas). We’d have to go on some terrible run to not go up automatically now and its just not going to happen

Comment #25Atsu took ages to leave the field when subbed. The FA should allow the game to restart as soon as he goes off. In other words, don’t allow the sub time to get in position where a player is blatantly try to buy time. That would stop it.

Comment #26Jonjo always wants to hit that ball that Gayle dreams of receiving.
Todays third is a great example , Gayle and Armstrong are the only two who really thrive on that type of service,
Cant wait to watch them tear what’s left of this league apart.

Comment #29As I said before Brighton, and before tonight, the contenders are just not strong enough. They look imposing when playing each other, but we are the reality check.
Colwells comment sadly lacks perspective. It’s not that we are battered and lucky to win by two goals ha ha think of it like being a higher league team facing a lower league side playing at their best and most desperate. We’ve been soaking this type of pressure up for months. I doubt any other side comes close to acheiving that

Comment #40Well a 40GD is just like my hips – don’t lie ha ha – Reading will have their crackers dragged over their heeds on Tuesday, which will mean it’s a straight fight for second place while we wave at them all from the rear window as we pull out of sight.
I can’t see us losing any of our run ins actually. Not a single one. Ever. 😀
