Newcastle Fans Should Get Used To Team Being Lucky

It seems that at least some Newcastle fans are waking up and then remembering what happened yesterday and then pinching themselves to make sure they are still here and haven’t died and gone to heaven.

But it’s true,  two massive wins over two teams who Sky Sports seem to support and like big time for some strange reason.

When Huddersfield scored their penalty after 72 minutes to make the score 2-1 – yes it was another dodgy penalty decision – the Sky reporters almost had a heart attack they were so excited.

Aren’t they supposed to be unbiased?

But that’s what happens when you are a dominant side and people – especially in the media – would have the news be much better for them – and that’s if we are defeated.

Then they can talk about Newcastle being sensationally beaten.

It didn’t happen and we should probably get used to the media not liking us – that means we are really good.

In all the reports of the last two games we have been an extremely lucky team.

So it’s good we’ve been so lucky all season and now have 76 points from 35 games and a 68% win rate.

We have also equaled the number of away wins in a season with 13 wins in 18 away games.

When you are at the top there are always people gunning for you – that’s part of being successful and Rafa has to be used to it.

Here’s some reaction this morning from the Newcastle faithful – the best in the world – without any doubt.

A bit of class here from ToonBliss – nice to see.

And the wife makes a huge mistake!!!!

What a bonny bairn but that romper suit? He could be psychologically scarred if he’s made to wear it much longer!
