Crucial Game For Newcastle On Saturday

Newcastle have only ten games still to play this season and before April 1st we have just two games to play – at home on Saturday against Fulham and away at Birmingham the following Saturday – followed by the two week International break.

Starting April 1st we have 7 games in April and then one in May.

If we can win 8 of these games we will be automatically promoted and if Huddersfield drop points it will be less than that.

So we need wins – starting on Saturday in front of another sold-out crowd.

Fulham with 3rd best away record will probably come and play a bit which will suit us.
Yedlin being out is a shame as his pace makes such a difference to us.

But hope for a comfortable and watchable home win.

That Barca game, wow, the officials may have been conned for the Suarez penalty (10/10 for diving) but Di Maria was the villain for me:
When he was thru on goal, he scuffed his shot, the player behind him didn’t touch him.
He gave away the free kick that Neymar scored to make it 4-1 and then inexplicably fouled the GK on the half way line that gave them the free kick to make it 6-1.
So yes, dodgy officials but PSG shot themselves in the foot several times.
