More Displays Like This And Newcastle Could Blow Promotion

We are just hoping that another disaster scenario is not unfolding at Newcastle and that we end up not getting promoted this season after what was a terrible displays from our players yesterday in the 3-1 defeat at St. James’ Park.

We hope it’s not getting too much for them and Rafa will have to get involved and weave his magic so we can quickly get back yo our winning ways.

Jonjo Shelvey – had an off day yesterday

One problem with this defeat is we gave only one game to play next Saturday at Birmingham before the two week International break.

We need a good result at Birmingham.

Fulham won far too easily yesterday and exposed Newcastle as an ordinary side with Jonjo Shelvey had a poor game – which he did yesterday.

Ryan Sessegnon scored two plus one from the very impressive Tom Cairney before Daryl Murphy scored a consolation goal.

And Fulham also missed a late penalty.

Things can change quickly in the Championship and they certainly have since we won away at Brighton and Huddersfield.

We have lost 5 points on both Brighton and Huddersfield and we need to correct quickly otherwise we could be in serious trouble.

If we don;t make an automatic promotion spot the playoffs will be very very dodgy for us.

But what is very clear is that more home displays like this one at home from Newcastle and we could blow portion this season with all it’s consequences like Rafa Benitez leaving Newcastle.

That’s the reality of this display and this defeat.

It was never easy being  a Newcastle supporter.
