Three Newcastle Players Make Republic Of Ireland Squad

Rob Elliot has finally been recalled to the Republic of Ireland squad – but it’s only the provisional squad of 39 players and he is listed as one of four goalkeepers.

The in-form Daryl Murphy and Ciaran Clark are also included, but Ciaran picked up a knee injury last Saturday so he has to be a doubt for the upcoming World Cup qualifying games.

“Those who slate the fat man, it could be worse….. And i don’t just mean Derby, but Hull, Swansea and a load more.”

Newcastle are a bigger club than all 3. Putting things into proportion, Newcastle are underachieving more than the above clubs mentioned = a worse owner.
