Sky Sports Pundit Predicts Birmingham vs Newcastle Result

David Prutton has a habit of not predicting a Newcastle win and when he does that we usually win the game – as we did at both Brighton and Huddersfield recently.

But after those two great wins he relented and apologized to Newcastle fans and then took us for a 1-0 win at Reading, but of course we dropped 2 points in the 0-0 draw.

So we have to be wary of what David predicts for Newcastle – he’s often wrong – to say the least.

David Prutton – Sky Sports pundit

Here’s what David has written on Sky Sports today for the game at Birmingham tomorrow:

“Newcastle have slipped up at times over the season but this doesn’t feel like another game where they drop points.”

“They have beaten Brighton and Huddersfield away by letting them have a lot of the ball and then having the sting in the tail.”

“Birmingham will be looking at what Rowett does at Derby and seeing how he fares, because they could have had that all season.”

Prutton predicts a Newcastle win – 2-0

In the game tonight at Bristol City where Huddersfield will look to close the gap on Newcastle and Brighton to just 3 points, David predicts a 2-0 Huddersfield win.

And in the tough game tomorrow when Brighton play at Leeds United, he predicts a 2-2 draw.

Nothing to do with the abobe, but have you seen this re Strawberry Place? No benefit at all to NUFC, and stops expansion.

    Prutton couldn’t predict weather…
Shocking decision sacking rowett, but gotta be honest, we’ve played Birmingham 3 times, and Zola’s team style was a much trickier game for us than what Rowetts team offered.. Not sure this is as cut a result as people make out

Jay, if we cant beat Birmingham, we can start to very seriously worry about our chances of promotion, assuming Huddersfield keep winning and playing well. I reckon 0-1 to the Mags
