Fans Want This 26 Year-Old At Newcastle For £12M

Maybe it was the way he played almost two weeks ago at St. James’ Park when he looked a very good player – whatever it is Newcastle fans seem keen on the club signing Fulham midfielder Tom Cairney with the reports being he would cost Newcastle about £12M this summer.

83% of fans want Newcastle to sign the creative midfielder this summer.

Tom has played for the Scotland U19 and U21 youth sides and qualifies to play for either England or Scotland because of his Scottish father and English mother; he has been called up for the full Scotland squad for the first time during this International window.

Tom Cairney – 26 year-old Fulham midfielder

In his career so far he has played 255 games with 33 goals and 44 assists.

Tom was born in Nottingham and started his career at Leeds United Youth Academy before joining Hull City  back in 2007.

Six years later he joined Blackburn Rovers in 2013 where he stayed for just a couple of years before joining Fulham.

This season Tom has been in outstanding form playing 41 times for Fulham with 9 goals.

Didn’t we do this before Ed? Seems like what we need.

A Cf worth looking at is the Bristol number 9. Racked up the goals in a poor side.

Should we go up we should raid this league’s creme de la creme.

Just a reminder for Jail. Me and my able deputy Ian Toon recommend him ages ago before it was fashionable. Hehe 🙂

Strange he wasn’t on or radar last summer though. Especially since we where trawling the division for players with championship experience. He probably would have been a lot cheaper as well.

    Abraham
Has been a standout in this league, I wouldn’t be surprised if Chelsea decided to keep him.

Essex you nearly did a Tom Swifty

“I love camping” he said intently

“Get to the back of the boat” he said sternly

“It’s OK I’ve got another one ” said Captain Hook off handedly

    You get the idea.

Everton have agreed a deal to acquire land on which to build a new £300m stadium in Liverpool, BBC Radio Merseyside understands.
The Premier League club and landowners Peel Holdings have reached agreement on the Bramley Moore Dock site near the River Mersey.

With Anfield redeveloped with a capacity of 54,000 there is a mood amongst urban planners for football clubs to become the new out of town shopping and leisure complexes.

Newcastle City Council have approved plans for more butt ugly ( what happened to competent Architects ? ) student flats on the Metro car park behind the Gallowgate which probably scuppers any extension to the Gallowgate to get SJP capacity up to 60,000 . ( development of the East stand being restricted by the listed buildings behind ).

It’s a real possibility that SJP is targeted as being suitable for future business/science/university development. The carrot bring offered to build a new stadium at Newburn or Kingston park as a showpiece stadium with built in MacDonalds, Greggs and Travel Lodge.

Nightmare scenario – especially if the Chinese buy out Ashley and the City Council will fall over themselves to build even more student complexes.

Perhaps some esteemed journo could start digging and provide some answers.

Thanks for that, hadn’t realized he’s a Chelsea player and Conte likes him.

    AND he has a license

Portsmouth are to enter into exclusive discussions with former Walt Disney chief executive Michael Eisner about a potential takeover of the club.

The changes are a coming….imagine your club mascot being Mickey Mouse.

Funny but I’ve never understood the phrase “a Mickey mouse outfit/whatever…” As a derogatory expression. It’s one of the richest businesses going ha ha we would be doing well to be a Mickey mouse club!
