Fabulous Mitrovic Goal – Video For Overseas Fans

Here’s a video of Aleksandar Mitrovic’s goal for Serbia last night in their 3-1 win at Georgia in World Cup qualifying Group D and it put Serbia 2-1 up.

The video isn’t great bit the goal is and the video seems to work around the world.

Who says this lad cannot score goals?

In the same group the Republic of Ireland drew 0-0 at home to Wales and Serbia are now joint top on 11 points with Ireland.

Yeah very neat finish. Damn it, it’s a little annoying when your players show great feet, perfect balance and lethal finishing for their country then more often than not can’t hit a cows arse with a banjo the weekend after 🙂
But no doubt the ‘heavy shirt’, the impatient deluded home crowd are to blame..?

If Mitro keeps doing well at international level he could end up like Sissoko and worth 30 million.
The Serbia manager and team regard him highly. In fact he is their main man.
It’s all about styles of play and formation.
They set up to play to his strengths.
    We don’t.

    Morning posada!
I get that, and there is a fair bit to like about Mitro. All I was twisting about was that he has probably received the ball a hundred times for us 25 yards out with a couple of yards of space, and I can’t remember him doing that too many times..

    Morning Sing.
Aye the last time he scored a goal like that for us.
I think it was at home to Norwich last year.
Although, I will always be grateful for his equaliser against the lot from just down the road.
