Let’s hope they are upbeat on Saturday afternoon and can win this game – it’s now the business end of the season and every win takes us closer to the Premier League.

Mitro looks lean and hopefully is in good shape.
I’d like to see him play up front with Gayle from the off.

Think best case scenario after the next 2 games is as you were. Huddersfield also have 2 home games, albeit 1 against Norwich.

Need to get 6pts even if it’s just to keep them at arms length and maintain the gap with 2 less to play.

Home jitters banished hopefully. Refreshed bodies and minds for one final push.

Has anyone calculated the three teams run-ins, considering teams that have something to play for? I think that’s the way to look at it.

For example we’re playing relegation threatened teams who’ll have nothing to lose and all to gain, so to speak.

I hardly see any easy games for us… not that there are any in this league.

I still feel we’ll hit 91, which should be enough to scrape through. The 6 pointers did us good.

I know the other teams have QPR and/or Villa to play, who were the in form teams prior to the break. On paper the only difficult team we have is Leeds. All from memory, so maybe wrong.

I think people need to take into effect that Hudd and Brighton are not guarantee to win all those games as their performance of late has declined the same with us.

Also take into consideration that other teams would want to go as high as possible for the funding at the end of the season as in this day in age every little helps,no teams will be easy for all 3 top teams so don’t expect an easy run of results.

One game at a time Rafa says and he’ll stick to it!

I agree. I think all three will be dropping mega points, but we’re in a better place. Just win like half our games. The others will be dropping points too, especially to the playoffs teams who’ll be guns blazing.

Same the relegation teams. At least one of them will go on a run.

Brighton, Huddersfield and us are all playing bottom of the table sides at home so it should be three bankers.

But I’d bet there’s a banana skin in there for one of us but hopefully for the other two.

Wigan have one of the better goals against records in the league so there may be a bus or two on the pitch.

It’s a new week, after a decent break and regroup.
I prefer to look forward to a home game against an inferior side, instead of fretting aboutthe history of some stuttering performances at SJP this season.
We’re only one confidence boosting, convincing win away from banishing all that.
Back the lads all the way!

The TOON never do it the easy way – and for starters most times we struggle against Wigan.

Brighton’s last game of the season away to Villa could be a ‘BIGGY’

Pit your wits against the Chron’s promotion predictor.

I got us as champs with 100 points, Brighton on 87 and Uddersfield, 83.

But, maybe others’ predictions might be more realistic than mine. Hey ho.

Over 50,000 will be going to wuch the much on Saturday. Players will huch a plot to cuch the opposition on the break and luch onto any mistakes.
Mr Tubbs might be there to puch things up with Rafa and at half time fans will be scoffing some of the buch of pies on sale.

Relax and chill. Our players have played these two already this season. They have the measure of them.
We are going to murder them.

Gayle & Hayden returning should put an end to our poor form. If Anita & Gouffran can start playing like they did in the first 10-20 games then we will go up without a doubt. If they continue playing like they did in the last 3 seasons then we are playing with 9 men. Hopefully Clark can get fit soon too, he’ll be a miss, but we have two good replacements. I’m putting us to win by 2 goals or more vs. Wigan.

    Aye that’s the spirit.
We need to whip up a positive atmosphere. The Wigan game is huge, it being the start of the final ‘micro season’ we’re heading into on Saturday. Win, and ride that wave through Burton and into two away games which will be that much easier to tackle with the confidence of 6 points in the bag.
