David Prutton has backed both Brighton and Huddersfield to win most of their games this season, when has predicted the results of the Championship games.
But that’s not been the case for Newcastle.
David never seems to give accurate predictions for the Magpies – we were supposed to lose to both Brighton and Huddersfield, but we won them both.
Then he relented and said in the next game we would beat Reading away – but we only drew.
David Prutton – why’s he so biased against Newcastle?
And last Saturday he had us drawing with Wigan, but he did predict the 1-0 win for Newcastle against Burton on Wednesday night.
Bit he’s now returned to his natural state and while he predicts wins for both Brighton (2-1 at QPR) and Huddersfield (2-0 at Nottingham Forest) tomorrow, he predicts only a 2-2 draw for Newcastle at Sheffield Wednesday,
Do the Sky Sports people not think this is just a little bit too biased, brazen and obvious?
This is what David has said about our game tomorrow’s game:
“You can see Newcastle doing what they did to the likes of Huddersfield at Sheffield Wednesday, allowing them to dominate the ball and hitting them on the counter.”
“Automatic promotion is paramount for Newcastle, but because of the cushion they have in the top two, and with Wednesday needing a result to stay in the pack, I think it will be a draw.”
Prutton predicts: 2-2
It would be good to go through his predictions and see how many points we would have got if David’s predictions had come true.
But he only took over from Ian Holloway when Ian went back to manage QPR – and get back into a real job.
This should be extra incentive for our lads to go out tomorrow and make sure we win this game at Hillsborough – that will ensure we nail down that automatic promotion spot sooner rather than later.
Howay The Lads!!
