Newcastle Must Get Back To Winning Ways Against Preston

Our next game is going to be a crunch game at home to Preston but before that it may be that things have been relieved a bit if Huddersfield cannot beat Fulham at Craven Cottage tomorrow.

Any points the Terriers drop will lower the points total we need to go up and indeed if the Terriers don’t win tomorrow and we win on Monday night we’re promoted in one of the automatic promotion spots.

The second one.

Of course Newcastle never do anything the easy way, so one point from our last three games have put some pressure on us.

Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez

We simply must get promoted this season and the lads need to go all out and get the result for the fans and the club on Monday night.

Then we can all go bonkers.

Can’t wait for Monday night. Gonna be horrible watching other results and games whilst we sit on our hands, but it could work in our favour if FULHAM beat Huddersfield 🙂 We could go into that game with the pressure off and the crowd in a really good mood. Preston’s away record recently isn’t quite ground shaking is it? We are going up – we are going up!

Dries Mertens is 30 next month and is still one of the best strikers in SerieA.
The Belgian press are constantly linking us with him.
    He would cost about £20m
He’s refusing to sign a new contract with Napoli.
He was Rafa’s first signing at the Italian club !!!

When we get promoted on Monday the Rumour Mill is going to go into turbo-powered over-drive

Jib, Aye, you ain’t wrong mate. Might just go onto hiding during that period simply because I trust Rafa to buy the players that will do the job he wants them to. All the arguments about the finer points of this player and that, and how so and so has it on good authority we’re buying this or that player just does my napper in! 🙂 We’ll get who we get and sell who Rafa doesn’t want. Easy.

    Welcome back, JIB! 😮
Let’s hope ‘Udders turn up at Craven Cottage and not at the John Smith’s

Just got to pop to the docs. Strange behaviour. I’ve got anaemia apparently and their answer appears to be taking more and more blood from me. Does that not strike you as counter productive? 🙂 I feel like a bloody pin cushion.
Oh wow, Egihog(?) has died after collapsing. Former Villa defender? Only 44 ffs. Dear me.

Apparently yes. There’s a Durham ref taking their game, but he could well be a mackem and help them too! Arrgh! It’s all a fiddle. 🙂
