Newcastle To Sign Off Against Barnsley With Three Successive Wins?

The best thing we can hope for tomorrow is our lads put in a good performance at St. James’ Park tomorrow afternoon in front of a sold out and delighted Newcastle crowd to sign off from the Championship with 3 wins in a row.

If Aston Villa and Geordie Steve Bruce then oblige and either beat or draw with Brighton then we will go up as Champions and as Rafa said yesterday with a smile yesterday at his press conference that would be icing on the cake.

Bur the manager is rightly proud of what he and his new young team have achieved this season which turned our to be a much more difficult task than  he’s been given credit for – after all he built a whole new team last summer and they had to have time to gel etc.

Let us know hoe you think we will do and for those privileged to be at the game tomorrow make sure you enjoy yourselves – Newcastle United is on the way back to being great again and it will be a great summer for us to enjoy.

Mike Ashley – owner – hope he makes the game tomorrow
He has to be part of the new United club
Maybe he can then meet with Rafa?

    On Ranieri from previous
I don’t mean to take anything away from him he was great but he didn’t really change the team all that often or really the style…he also benefited from the league weakness much like Pardew did with us just more so

I think it’s poor to try and take the achievement away from either

    Tynemouth,
How did Shay Given save us from being relegated?

i know this is not the answer but i’ll throw it in..

“The opening months of Newcastle’s 2008–09 season were blighted by ownership and managerial turmoil, as well as numerous injury problems. This manifested itself on the pitch as the club struggled to direct itself clear of the relegation zone. However a highlight was Given saving a Kevin Nolan penalty in a 1–0 win over Bolton Wanderers.”
