New Newcastle United Home Strip Leaked – Looks Good

It’s been a long time coming and the very first leaked photo of what looks to be Newcastle’s new home strip for next season in the Premier League.

And with the news trip comes the new Chinese sponsor and it seems to be Chinese gaming company Fun88.

Here’s some information on the company which was founded in 2008.

That is consistent with what the Chronicle reported last week that it was a Chinese betting company.

The logo is in Newcastle’s light blue color and from what we can of the shirt it looks very smart and there’s quite a bit of black in this one – we like it.

The 125 year logo to be worn next season

Newcastle United were founded back in 1892 when I was just a young lad.

    @rolando from previous post.

    Sorry I missed your question re my Atsu comment. I said he’s not good enough as a modern premier league footballer meaning that he just isn’t consistent enough. He looked class in the ACON but didn’t do much for Bournemouth last season in the PL. This season he’s looked brilliant for one game and then invisible for the next three. Rafa demands consistent performance levels from his teams, and that they work hard when the ball is in back with the opposition. Not sure he’s going to raise his game enough to make him a first team regular the way Ritchie is. He just doesn’t have the same work ethic or tenacity

    I hope Rafa tries to do it by bringing in the very best players in the age group 20-23yrs.
    Some experience yes, but you should get the older players for their wages and not too big a fee.
    The big boys can’t sign all the good young talent.
    Although Chelsea certainly try. They have young players stacked up all over the place on loan. It’s an abuse of the system for me.
    The actual players. I will leave that to Rafa. I’m not wanting to spend the summer reading all the fake news stuff.

    Spot on, mate. With young players who are hungry, we will do well under Rafa, especially with a *bit* of experience sprinkled in. I do think we’ve got a decent amount of experience in the side already but one current Prem regular incoming with a good head on their shoulders would solidify the ‘experienced’ number and the rest of the incomings should be 20-23 y.o. high potential players. This would mean we’d be aiming for solid-high mid-table this season while bedding in the younger players with European qualification the ‘reach’ goal next season.

    A large amount of this depends on who is available and who Rafa can lure, but I think your plan is the right one. Hopefully we’ll get an indication of that in not too long with an actual signing being announced after the Prem season is over.

    Atsu is def not good enough for the Premiership. Chelsea cannot wait to get rid of him. 6 goals in the Championship says it all. Halve it in the Premiership. Very disappointing. There is no Keegan revolution here. Rafa is feeding off scraps. Obviously no offers from a top club for Rafa.. If Atsu is the calibre of transfer, book us down for a relegation scrap.

    Love the 125 year logo.

    I wonder if the shirt will be available without the sponsors name and just the logo?
