Midfield Transfer Target Cannot Wait – Wants Newcastle To Sign Him

Good news today that 25 year-old Torino midfielder Afriyie Acquah who we have been heavily linked with in the last week has issued a come and get me plea to Newcastle in a video he has made in Ghana.

United, confirming in an interview that he hopes to complete a move to Tyneside this summer.

Newcastle have been linked with a summer move for the 25-year-old Ghanaian and after recently suggesting a move to England was on the cards, Acquah has spoken out again.

25 year-old Torino midfielder Afriyie Acquah

He seems to know nothing about what’s happening and it seems nobody has contacted him or his agent from Newcastle but the has seen the news about Newcastle warning him in the press and he is very interested.

See it for yourself in the video below, showing Acquah’s please come and get me plea to NUFC during an interview in his homeland.

Here’s the video:

He seems to be anxious that his agent find out what’s happening at Newcastle and then get a deal done.

It’s always nice to see a good player very interested in moving to Newcastle even if we are not interested in him.

But it may well be that we have other alternatives like Fernando of Manchester City and we still seem to be interested in Andreas Samaris of Benfica, although Andreas seems an expensive proposition.

We are hoping for some deals to be completed by Newcastle this week so if we want this player there’s no doubt he wants to join Newcastle United and the Rafalution.

That always helps.

What do you think?

When you see reports like this of silly valuations from a silly newspaper then you know that the silly season is with us

Everton have had a £30m bid rejected for Swansea’s 27-year-old Icelandic midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson. (Mirror)

We just need some realistic signings of footballers who want to join NUFC

Trouble is mate Nufc have got to pay the money in the over inflated world of the Pl.
Pre season starts next week and as of yet there is no movement. So I’m hoping for a big week on the transfer front.

Ho hum, has Charnley been going through the motions and accidentally stumbled across a player that wants to join us?

Well he appears to be saying that neither he nor his agent have heard from Newcastle. Logic that tells me we’re unlikely to be interested and that it’s all paper talk.

Alternatively we are interested. But if that’s how we treat/approach players we want, then no wonder we’re missing out on targets……. and a lean transfer window looms. 🙁

This week more than any other, will tell us wether Cashley has kept his word regarding making funds available.I honestly think that if it had been left to Rafa he would already have the players he wants.
I think this is a make or break week for Ashley and Benitez.

Not holding my breath fat boy and his minions has already pissed of Rafa with the lack of progress on the transfer front, no real surprises there then also it is rumoured that Ashley has lied AGAIN this time to Rafa about the funds being made available for future signings and if true then its bye bye Rafa and yet another season of discontent.

    ASHLEY OUT!!!!!!!!!!
