Good news today that 25 year-old Torino midfielder Afriyie Acquah who we have been heavily linked with in the last week has issued a come and get me plea to Newcastle in a video he has made in Ghana.
United, confirming in an interview that he hopes to complete a move to Tyneside this summer.
Newcastle have been linked with a summer move for the 25-year-old Ghanaian and after recently suggesting a move to England was on the cards, Acquah has spoken out again.

He seems to know nothing about what’s happening and it seems nobody has contacted him or his agent from Newcastle but the has seen the news about Newcastle warning him in the press and he is very interested.
See it for yourself in the video below, showing Acquah’s please come and get me plea to NUFC during an interview in his homeland.

He seems to be anxious that his agent find out what’s happening at Newcastle and then get a deal done.
It’s always nice to see a good player very interested in moving to Newcastle even if we are not interested in him.
But it may well be that we have other alternatives like Fernando of Manchester City and we still seem to be interested in Andreas Samaris of Benfica, although Andreas seems an expensive proposition.
We are hoping for some deals to be completed by Newcastle this week so if we want this player there’s no doubt he wants to join Newcastle United and the Rafalution.
That always helps.
What do you think?
