These Are Exciting Times Coming Up For Newcastle United

Isaac Hayden nearly always gives excellent interviews and one reason for that is what comes over with the youngster is that he’s so happy to be at a club like Newcastle United.

And with the fans,  he’s already a big favorite after an excellent first season on Tyneside and this lad can still improve a lot and he’s already a very good technical player, who makes the game look so easy.

Show-off.

🙂

22 year – old Isaac Hayden – do you think he’s just scored?

Isaac seems over the moon right now and he’s certainly looking forward to resuming training next Monday when the lads will start returning from their rather long eight week summer break – hopefully all refreshed and ready to go.

Isaac has never played in the Premier League, so no doubt it’s an exciting season ahead for him.

Isaac is very much  looking forward to our first game of the season when we welcome Tottenham Hotspur, the Premier League runners-up last season back to St. James’ Park in what will be consecutive Premier League games.

That’s because we played them at the very end of our relegation season and come to think of it we took them apart 5-1 that day – had to get that one in.

🙂

This is what Hayden has said on Newcastle’s website:

“I was looking at the fixtures the day they came out, and Spurs at home is a massive fixture to start off with.”

“I’m sure everybody wants to get back in and will be looking forward to that one.”

“But it’s the whole Premier League experience – it’s not just the one game, you’ve got 38 games against a lot of good teams, so it’s exciting times.”

“It’s about everyone pulling in the right direction – the players that are already here, the players that will come – and everyone working together to make sure that the club goes in the right direction.”

“It’s been a long break so far, and it’s probably been needed for a lot of the players, including myself. I feel really good now, and I feel ready and raring to go for the season ahead.”

“I’m looking forward to pre-season. All the lads get back next Monday, and I just came back in a few days early just to get a few treatments and make sure I’m 100 per cent ready.”

“I feel really good, I’ve been doing my exercises, my gym work and my running, so I feel ready and raring to go.”

Comments welcome.

If there’s lots of running around at SJP, they’ll be expecting a visit from Ashley and looking for the stotties!

Ed- It’ll be exciting times ahead once we sign the players needed or else it will be dread instead.

We really need to get our finger out and start signing ASAP!

Probably missed the bus on this one a bit, but I see that Henry Onyekuru, whom we were linked with a couple of weeks back has signed for Everton, however, as he currently isn’t eligible for a work permit they have loaned him straight to Anderlecht.

Just read an article by some Chelsea writer who praises Abraham for going to Swansea ahead of us who he describes as ‘a basket case’.
Only a Chelsea fan could come up with such nonsense. A club going nowhere before their sugar daddy came aboard and who owe Roman over one billion smackers. Like City fans lately, they seem to forget where they came from.
Makes you wonder where FFFP fits into that number. Chelsea is not worth a billion quid of anybody’s money, so how haven’t they breached those rules?
The arrogance is unbelievable. To quote King Kev, ‘I would love it, love it, if Roman left and took his money’. Seeing them start in the Southern League from scratch would be priceless.
Oh yeah, and if we don’t like it, we, can go punch a horse apparently. For anybody who’d rather not punch a horse – like 99.9999% of us, his photo is available I believe! 🙂
