He’s Arrived – Rafa Benitez Has Entered The Building – Photo

A smiling and fit looking Rafa Benitez has arrived at the Benton Training grounds with the sun shining brightly in Newcastle this morning.

The Newcastle United Twitter account has released this first photograph of Newcastle’s manager as he arrives for preseason training about two hours ahead of when the players are expected to start arriving.

Rafa Benitez arriving in the car park at just after 8:00 am this morning
It’s sunny and he’s smiling – what more could you ask for?
Oh yes – more signings

🙂

It will be good to see what the new training gear looks like for this season, once the players start arriving at around 10:00am local time.

Well at least Rafa is smiling – as we expected.

Now to get some players signed!

Here’s the tweet….

Comments welcome.

Note:

One of our readers Alex Wannop is completing in the GN 10K next Sunday and also the GN Run to collect funds for Tiny Lives, because the Trust provided lifesaving care for his son Isaac, when he was born by C-section and in some distress.

The Tiny Lives Trust funds the Special Care Baby Unit at the RVI where Alex’s son Isaac spent the first few weeks of his life.

Alex is appreciative of the work the great doctors and nurses did to save his son’s life and that’s why he’s raising money.

Please support this very worthwhile charity on Alex’s Just Giving page where there are pictures of his son Isaac – thanks.

he will stay i have no doubt as he wants to do right by us fans.
i dont think everything is ok though as rafa’s been very very quite and tbf he knows the importance of communication.
lets just hope ashley and co are not mucking around like they have done so many times in the past as we will never get another manager like benny.

I just hope he gives a few of the loaners who are returning a chance, we may be able to use Krul, Dejong and possibly Saivet this season after a full pre season, Rolando too back from injury , if and it’s a big if, we can keep them fit we could use most of our funds on improving the service to Gayle/whoever else is striker.
I may be alone in this but I think if Gayle is fit he starts, nothing about his play last season suggests he can’t do the same in the premier league against most of the league…..no defender likes pace and trickery.
If we could get service to him from the left as well as the right ,he will score even more

Get him signed up, Craigcoozy must have found the key to his cupboard, he’ll be dehydrated and hungry after surviving on ice pops and custard creams as that’s all that would fit under the door

De Jong will NEVER make it in the Prem as he’s too slow! Krul has no future and who knows if Saivet is good enough. We need new blood in these areas as they’re not powerful enough. Hopefully, Rafa has players lined up!
