Newcastle’s Home Strip Ranked Sky High In Premier League By Mirror

It looks like the people who rank the Premier League strips in the Mirror really like Newcastle’s new home shirt with it being ranked 4th top of all 20 home strips.

The only clubs above us are Tottenham, who retain 1st place followed by Liverpool and then Manchester United.

It hasn’t gone unnoticed that the teams that finish high in the league also have the best strips – so if only that’s the way we can finish in the Premier League next season  – that would be great!

Newcastle’s new home strip – very smart-looking

Here’s what the Mirror said about Newcastle’s new home strip with Fun 88 being the Chinese sponsors of the shirt:

“It’s great to see Newcastle back in the Premier League. So great, in fact, that we’ve elevated them into the top four. Forget the Championship… if kits were good enough for the Champions League this would definitely qualify.”

We are starting to really like the strip the more we see of it.

Here’s the full strip worn by number 9 striker Dwight Gayle – looks very nice.

Sorry I put the old kit up – just trying to keep things interesting.

The strip also looks great on Jack – a future number 9 at Newcastle United from the scouting reports we have received – but he seems to have different socks?

🙂

Comments welcome.

Note:

One of our readers Alex Wannop is completing in the GN 10K next Sunday and also the GN Run to collect funds for Tiny Lives, because the Trust provided lifesaving care for his son Isaac, when he was born by C-section and in some distress.

The Tiny Lives Trust funds the Special Care Baby Unit at the RVI where Alex’s son Isaac spent the first few weeks of his life.

Alex is appreciative of the work the great doctors and nurses did to save his son’s life and that’s why he’s raising money.

Please support this very worthwhile charity on Alex’s Just Giving page where there are pictures of his son Isaac – thanks.

If SDJ stays fit he could well be a very good player for us, it’s a massive if though unfortunately.

I keep reading on this blog that so and so is slow and therefore not good enough for the PL, remind me how quick Shelvey is for us. To be a success you need to have a footballing brain which SDJ has. Big clamour for siguardson and he’s not blessed with pace at all.

Pace isn’t everything, I doubt SDJ can stay fit though.

The news of players coming soon is no surprise, we’ve only bought 1 and he was on loan to us last season. Everyone knows players will come in but we are after some utter shite at the minute if and that’s again a big if…..press articles are to be believed.

Still can’t believe we haven’t made a move for Hernandez, 13m for a goalscorer is a no brainer

Newcastle United would like to proudly pre-announce an imminent announcement of the timing of a possible critical announcement of possible imaginary players. This should relieve the tension that has been building up within the supporter base. These imaginary players will not only not contribute to wor wage bills, but will also not really be noticed around the training ground. That is all…..

Silence! Herr Nickson would like to once again address the supporters:
Herr Nickson: “yessss very good Herr Charnley. I see you have all been whinging again haven’t you? No, don’t deny it you little swines. I’ve seen the whinging and the moaning and the whining on various blogs. That will cease immediately!!! We have important operations underway in Europe! We have agents everywhere! You will be punished! That is all……

Sky sources understand Florian Lejeune is currently undergoing his Newcastle medical.

The French centre-back arrived on Tyneside earlier today after Newcastle reached agreement over the structure of his £8.7m move from Spanish club Eibar.

I think we are going after Kamil Grosicki. Or it might just be another bit of bollocks from the press. He sounds decent. A winger who played for Hull and got 5 in 15. Decent international player as well.

That is quite a funny picture of Lejeune….. I like the savings of just crossing out Mbemba’s name and putting in Lejeune’s with a bit of crayon…

So are we going to manage to sell Mbemba then? Or just Hanley? Personally I would try Mbemba as a RB or DM to cover for those positions but we may have other fish to fry there.

Kamil Grosicki, known to his friends as the Big Sickie is a Polish international, age 29, with nearly 50 caps for Poland, and can play on either wing.
