Newcastle’s Home Strip Ranked Sky High In Premier League By Mirror

It looks like the people who rank the Premier League strips in the Mirror really like Newcastle’s new home shirt with it being ranked 4th top of all 20 home strips.

The only clubs above us are Tottenham, who retain 1st place followed by Liverpool and then Manchester United.

It hasn’t gone unnoticed that the teams that finish high in the league also have the best strips – so if only that’s the way we can finish in the Premier League next season  – that would be great!

Newcastle’s new home strip – very smart-looking

Here’s what the Mirror said about Newcastle’s new home strip with Fun 88 being the Chinese sponsors of the shirt:

“It’s great to see Newcastle back in the Premier League. So great, in fact, that we’ve elevated them into the top four. Forget the Championship… if kits were good enough for the Champions League this would definitely qualify.”

We are starting to really like the strip the more we see of it.

Here’s the full strip worn by number 9 striker Dwight Gayle – looks very nice.

Sorry I put the old kit up – just trying to keep things interesting.

The strip also looks great on Jack – a future number 9 at Newcastle United from the scouting reports we have received – but he seems to have different socks?

🙂

Comments welcome.

Note:

One of our readers Alex Wannop is completing in the GN 10K next Sunday and also the GN Run to collect funds for Tiny Lives, because the Trust provided lifesaving care for his son Isaac, when he was born by C-section and in some distress.

The Tiny Lives Trust funds the Special Care Baby Unit at the RVI where Alex’s son Isaac spent the first few weeks of his life.

Alex is appreciative of the work the great doctors and nurses did to save his son’s life and that’s why he’s raising money.

Please support this very worthwhile charity on Alex’s Just Giving page where there are pictures of his son Isaac – thanks.
