Newcastle Fans Take To Twitter – Javier Manquillo Could Become A Bargain Buy

Newcastle have managed to get one more player over the line today and that’s now two signings in just three days. and fans seem to think young Javier Manquillo could become a bargain buy down the road.

Fans think  Manquillo could become a bargain at just £4.5M if fellow Spaniard Rafa Benitez can weave his magic with the player who has played for all the Spanish youth sides including  7 times for the U21 side.

Rafa has continued to sign players who want to come to Newcastle and who also have something to prove.

Javier Manquillo – happy to be at Newcastle United

With Javier having a difficult time of it at Sunderland last season – who didn’t – then he has something to prove and Rafa even pointed that out in his comments on the Newcastle website.

We think this lad could be just fine and it’s obvious Newcastle fans will give him every chance to be a huge success on Tyneside – and why not?

Here are some typical tweets coming from the Geordie fans after the signing today.

Well at least he’s educated – see following tweet.

Manquillo will be one for the future. How about preparing for the upcoming season now.

Honestly at first I was like, Am I dreaming, is this report true. But sitting back after a few days I must trust that Rafa knows something about this kid no one else knew at the other clubs he played at. Here the thing that really made my mind up, look at all the top say 8 clubs in the premiership for the last two seasons, how many bought players for 10 million plus and they now are sold because they could not cut it in the prem. At under 5 million why not take a chance, sometimes the lower priced players are the ones that understand its not a god given right to wear the shirt because your a household name and these unknown players want to prove something and put in 110% effort. The better they play the more money they can get later down the line.
I cant wait for the first game, seeing us back in the Prem.

Shouldnt take the lad 2 mins to settle in
The language barrier wont be a massive issue.
Hes young and his value will go up.

We wont hold being a part of the unwashed against him.

    I wish him well.

    Is he good enough ?

We will find oot soon enough.

Think you’re right that Javier will manage the languages ok especially the Spanish craic with Rafa.
However he might need help from a translator to ween him off Mackem talk to English though.

The one thing that worries me the most is Rafa’s ego. He might think he can bring the best out of the team but to be surprised that their best is not good enough for the premier league.
