West Ham has been fairly active in the transfer market this summer and they were expected to be able to sign Osmanlispor midfielder Badou N’Diaye.
In a report in GOAL of only three days ago it said the player was expected to be the Hammers’ fifth signing of the summer.
But something must have happened and after being after the Senegal midfielder for quite a few weeks there was news yesterday that West Ham seems no longer interested in the player as reported in READ WEST HAM.
26-year-old Osmanlispor midfielder Badou N’Diaye
Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol had tweeted over the weekend that Newcastle was moving in with a late attempt to hijack the deal and that may even have been successful.
The news now is that Everton and Newcastle are the only two clubs left in the race to sign the 8 times capped Senegal International.
N’Diaye is rated at around £8.8M and would seem to be a decent buy for that price in today’s completely mad transfer market when a player (Neymar) may soon be sold for a ridiculous £191M.
Or is it £192M?
That’s even more than I received for the 34 years I worked at IBM.
In fact a lot more!
Back to reality please – Galatasaray is now also said to be keen to sign him and would mean he could stay playing in Turkey.
In the two years he’s been at Osmanlispor he’s p[layed 75 times with 18 goals and 7 assists.
With this news, a decent assumption would be that Newcastle is now close (at least closer) to signing this transfer target with the club who were once in the driver’s having pulled out.
Hope that’s right.
