Report – Rafa Benitez Makes Move To Sign Arsenal’s Jack Wilshire

There’s news in the Sun today that Newcastle may be in a decent position to get Arsenal playmaker Jack Wilshere to the club – with Jack having to admit his Arsenal career looks to be over.

Jack went on loan to Bournemouth last season but had an average time of it – although he did manage to stay fit most of the time and appeared 27 times for the Cherries with only two assists and no goals.

Wilshere didn’t make the Gunners’ squad for the game on Friday night at home to Leicester City when Arsenal came back dramatically to win the game 4-3 after being 3-2 down with only eight minutes to play.

Serie A club Sampdoria are reported to be interested while other Premier league clubs  Bournemouth, Crystal Palace and West Ham are also reported to be interested.

25-year-old Arsenal schemer Jack Wilshire

But if the Cherries really wanted him this summer they would have signed him before now surely.

The 25-year-old has played 160 times for the Gunners with 12 goals and 24 assists and was touted as one of England’s outstanding players only a few years ago.

Jack’s contract at Arsenal runs out next summer so the Gunners would be unwilling to send him out on loan when he would be available on a free transfer next year.

A source told this to SunSport:

“Jack is fit. He is raring to go but has not been included in the squad.”

“Wenger told the public that he isn’t ready but Jack is feeling in top condition.”

Benitez is said to be anxious to get him to Newcastle, but that would have to be via a loan deal and surely Wenger would want him on a permanent transfer if he was to finally leave Arsenal this summer?

From all the reports recently we cannot afford to sign Jack on a permanent deal – at least not this summer.

However, Rafa is desperate to get more class and creativity into the Newcastle squad for this season., and Jack would fit the bill, and Rafa could get the best out of a player who is naturally gifted and an excellent technical player.

Jack would certainly fit the bill, and Rafa could get the best out of a player who is naturally talented and an excellent technical player.

What do you think?

Heading up soon and looking for a professional performance from a well drilled and set up team – rest will follow. Take a draw but early season as witnessed yesterday anything can and does happen. Let’s surprise a few people 🙂

We’ve been waiting a long time for this – our first game back in the Premiership. So let’s forget about transfer rumours and disappointments for the next few hours. For now, at least, we have the players we have and we must get behind them 150%. What happens after that we can worry about after the game. HOWAY THE LADS!!!!!

    http://www.fichajes.net/noticias/tres-equipos-quieren-hacerse-lucas-vazquez-20170813.html

We are third in the queue for Real Madrid’s Lucas Vazquez apparently – behind Dortmund and Roma.

If Roma fail to get Riyad Mahrez from Leicester Vazquez would be their plan B.

However a straight swap – Vazquez for Borussia’s Ousmane Dembelé would seem to
    be the most likely outcome.

Haha fair one. Tbh it surprises me he’s even bothered communicating with us that pressure Rafa has been putting on him must of had an impact…not on us get more money obviously poor ‘billionaire…multi billionaire’ Mike Ashley is skint and we’d only settle for competing with Man City apparently

That 30 seconds annoyed me enough not sure what I would be like after a full interview

If I were to write down on a piece of paper the mistakes Ashley have made here since buying the club then I would need a lot paper…

…it’s not nativity it’s negligence! Still is if you discount the appointment of Rafa.

It’s a shame that stupid stage interview had to come just now and ruin the good match mood…but that cannot be a coincident can it?…can you google that for us Jib?
