Newcastle Miss Out On Top Transfer Target – Cross Him Off The List

The Mirror is reporting something that has been in the Spanish papers for several weeks now – that Newcastle target Lucas Perez has had enough of the Premier League with Arsenal and wants to return to his former club Deportivo in Spain.

The report says that Perez has turned down the chance to move to Newcastle on loan and instead he will return to Spain and his former club.

A return to Deportivo was what Perez was reported to want all along, and it looks like he will be on loan next season in Spain and then the Spanish club will have an option to buy him for a reasonable £10M next year.

Lucas Perez – wants to return to Deportivo

That would have been an excellent deal for Newcastle – if we could have persuaded Lucas to join us.

We will now have to look elsewhere if Rafa wants to bring in another striker this summer – which we assume he does.

The 28-year-old Spaniard would have been a great signing for us because he has real class, but it he didn’t want to come to Newcastle.

So be it.

We only want players who want to play for Newcastle.

Cross Perez off the list.

What do you think?

    Gutted on this one ?

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to replay the match tomorrow as I won’t be around to watch it live? Do sky repeat the full 90 mins if super Sunday games at any point?

Regarding the Huddersfield game, I think we will be more prepared than C.Palace and look for a one goal win. However they will be the more confident side and more likely to win, whilst we will struggle at both ends of the pitch. The team selection will be critical even though there are limited option for some positions. The heart says another impressive win, whilst the head hopes to scrape a draw.

Try football origin.com you can find most of the games in full an hour or so after the games been on.

I’ve just moved to Australia and you can watch any premiership game in HD live or on reply with one of the networks here… Crazy that you can’t do that in the country the games are actually on.

Do I ‘Likely Lads ‘ ( You may have to Google it depending on how old you are mate)…. Just record the match, avoid everyone and keep the radio off in the car.

Then sit down with packet of Maltesers and press play. It’s so difficult not wanting to fast forward.

But yes Sky do replay the full match, I think it’s the following morning and within a couple of days you get a shorter highlights version.

I am the same, don’t finish until midnight on Sunday !

Rafa has said he needs to trim the squad before he adds anymore faces. Wait for that before we get linked with More stars!
