With Lejeune not being fit, Rafa keeps with the same defense that played last weekend at Huddersfield in the 1-0 defeat.
And with Dwight Gayle being sick Joselu starts up front for Newcastle in a 4-2-3-1 formation with Merino and Hayden again the two central midfield players in Shelvey’s absence through suspension.
Only about one in three fans think we can win this game this afternoon and almost half believe we will lose again.
Howay The Lads!!

Comment #362Merino, seems to have a proper eye for that killer ball forward . . . ., second game in the prem and he made noble and co look worse than they are, him and hayden had the midfield even though west ham had 5 mids. Ritchie MOM however a number of toon players, Clark esp on any other day would have walked with the honours.
Lascelles, who gets mocked on here a lot, I to be honest didnt notice he was playing, nothing fancy nothing spectacular just there, in the best possible way, solid and dependable, didnt have to make and replay worthy defending efforts as he was taking chico out of the game so the ball never went to him hence he was dropping back. He and Clark compliment each other.
Whos gets dropped for Shelvey, LeJeune and later Dummett?
