News today that police want to speak to a Newcastle fan who is accused of racially abusing a Cardiff City player last season in south Wales.
We are putting this photograph of the wanted man out who at the time gave false details to police officers, according to Northumbria Police.
Police investigating racial abuse at the Magpies’ match in South Wales have now released an image of a man they want to speak to.
The man responsible for the comments was reported by another fan at the Cardiff game, and he was escorted out of the stadium by stewards.
Here is a photograph of the fan.
The details he provided to officers at the time were fake, and we wonder why documentation was not produced to show accurately who he was at that time?
Maybe he didn’t have any.
Police have themselves released the photograph above of the wanted man.
Anybody who knows him should contact the Northumbria Police on 101 extension 62290 or by emailing the investigating officer at 591@northumbria.pnn.police.uk.
Thanks.
