The Latest On Rafa Benitez – Whether He Can Make The Game Today

The latest on Rafa Benitez is that he will attempt to make the game today at Swansea and will fly by helicopter from his home in the Wirral and try to be on the touchline for the match.

We just have to hope that he has improved over the last couple of days with some rest at his home.

Rafa is one of the best in the business at reading a game, and because of that, he is also one of the best touchline managers who can change a game with substitutions or changes in tactics.

If he does miss the match,  that’s a disadvantage to the side today, but it would then be up to the players to show what they are made of.

Moreno and Rafa Benitez relaxed in training earlier this season

Here’s what Sky Sports Reporter Keith Downie has tweeted.

However, most of the advice he is getting is to miss the game today and make sure he is fully recovered so he can take the training next week for our home game with Stoke City.

Stoke looked good yesterday and drew 2-2 at home to Manchester United.

Our fans are relatively confident about this game, and almost 75% think we can take something out of the match.

Munster Enlighten me on what I said was crap?

Shelvey used to play higher up the pitch and could play no10? Think most people remember as I did his early days.

Perez being poor this season in the no10 role? Not sure how anyone can argue any different really he has looked weak and had moments of decent play at best.

Shelvey coming straight back into the side? Well I expect him to as being our best player last season it would be an incredible decision to leave him out. That being said Rafa does not change things too much and may go with a winning side from West Ham. Maybe saying people are on drugs who believe this was a little too far.

Overall please tell me what you don’t agree with rather than spouting rubbish with no substance.

We seem to have some good wide players (Atsu, Murphy, Aarons) so I’d like to see Ritchie given a chance to play in the no 10 position. He’s an intelligent footballer and a fighter and could be effective.
