Newcastle Fans Take To Twitter To Celebrate Another Win

After our third win in a row and up to 4th place in the Premier League Newcastle fans flocked to Twitter to celebrate yet another win.

Wins are what will keep us up the league table this season, and that’s now three wins in five games for Newcastle and Rafa, a 60% win rate already, after losing our first two games.

It was captain fantastic Jamaal Lascelles who scored the winner again after 68 minutes, but Newcastle wasted many chances before that time, and this game should have been won before halftime.

Joselu missed three very good chances in this game and will need to get his shooting boots on for our game at Brighton next Sunday afternoon when we will need to get another 3 points.

Here are some typical comments from Newcastle fans.

Lets enjoy the ride Toon Army, yes I know its a little crazy that we are fourth in the league. Lets look at the last two teams we played, we beat Swansea away and they just held spurs to a draw yesterday and then we beat Stoke at home and they just drew 2 – 2 with Man United. So on paper great wins, and lets be honest about the Stoke game, if Jos had taken his chances a little better we would have won that game 4 – 1 maybe 5 – 1. This is why Mr. Ashley is was really important to get in a recognized striker in the window.
( Idiot ) Lets enjoy this week, after the spurs game only one other team can take fourth spot away from us. All we need now is a Chelsea win or draw with the Gunners and we stay fourth for most of the week. Come on Chelsea, yes I’m cheering on Chelsea but a draw would make games more interesting next week.
