Newcastle United have put out on their Twitter account some rare video of Newcastle stars training yesterday.
We see a fast-paced game and good goals coming from young star Mikel Merino and also from suspended Aleksandar Mitrovic.
Come to think of it, once Mitro is back from his suspension, he’ll be eligible the game at home to Liverpool a week on Sunday, he could start doing a job for Newcastle.
It could be a big chance for the Serbian striker to cement his future at the club.
Here’s the video and it’s good to watch it in full-screen.

I would imagine throughout the season we will be visiting some dark places and on the end of some whoopings.
But we gotta stay strong and let the despondency be enjoyed by the beggars like Bladeuser and the likes.Yeah everything is rosy at the moment and we all on a high, But Newcastle being Newcastle it won’t stay like this for long!!

Comment #3jazzyp – Yeah – just hoping it is not this Sunday where we are all confident we can get something out of this game. After that Liverpool at home we have potential to also pick up points the way they are playing at the moment – however I wouldn’t be as upset losing to them as I would Brighton!

Comment #4Also very good article in this mornings Journal on the workings of RAFA his scouts and what he expects from his players, staff and scouts – worth a read if you get the chance

Comment #5Just noticed Brighton were knocked out the EFL cup last night after extra time – I would imagine they put out a team of mostly reserve players so probably not affect them for Sunday!

Comment #7cheers hibbit – looks like they rested most of their first team but brought a couple on towards the end to try and rescue the game. The goalkeeper seems familiar! 🙂

An away win against Brighton followed by a Draw with Liverpool.
Anything can come out of the Southampton game and I definitely fancy a result against Palace, Which is got a home win written all over it

Bitter Jail???
You like to keep bringing up that I called the team this lot. I was seriously disappointed the way the manager was lied to and let down during the summer, he said himself he’d signed the players he could rather than the ones he wanted to and we’d just lost three in a row with most people predicting a relegation struggle. Before you get on your high horse about that, let’s not forget that you suggested the one decent thing holding that shambles of upper management together to stfu.
As for a one trick pony, it’s increasingly looking like Armstrong is, if he has to play in a great team that plays exactly to his strengths then he hasn’t got that much in his locker,. Barnsley didn’t play to his strengths, Bolton are shite, let’s see if we can send him on loan to Barcelona and see if he bags 30.

Comment #13Ha ha ha OP, that’s not when I’m trying to be funny, it’s when I’m laughing at someone. Get it? Not rocket science. Sheesh. 🙂
I did notice on The Mag that Bell Ender was having a dig at Ed’s blog the other week, because not everyone shares his blind hatred for Ashley. (Or that most of us just choose to ignore the knacker, like Rafa is). And them jail comments about posting on The mag and basking in the popularity it brings him dissing Ashley.
You don’t suppose jail and bell ender could be the same person do you? Just as much similarity there as in carl and Jack etc. 🙂 🙂
Seems jail/bell is upset about not getting many hearts on his posts, bless him. Keep telling him it’s not a popularity contest on here, just a blog for opinions, but he does get upset if somebody dares to compliment anybody but him. 🙂 Priceless.
Come on carl, put him on a special list so he doesn’t feel left out. He might stop delving back into dim and distant history to remind people what they said if he feels the love a bit more. ‘That’s not what you said in 1746, you called King George a nutjob…’ 🙂
