Newcastle Can Pull Off A Shock Win Against Liverpool On Sunday

Two years ago we took 4 points from Liverpool when we won 2-0 at home and then with Rafa as the manager we got a 2-2 draw at Anfield when we came back from being 2-0 down.

And this season when we played another top-six side – Tottenham at home in our first game of the season.

We were doing just fine until Jonjo Shelvey managed to get himself sent off early in the second half.

So assuming we can keep 11 men on the field on Sunday, we must have a good chance of beating the Reds at St. James’ Park in front of a 52,000 sellout crowd.

The main reason we think that is that Rafa Benitez will have the perfect game plan against his former club, and the lads will need to execute it almost flawlessly to win this game.

But we can do it – make no mistake about that.

Flamboyant Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp

That’s what we think – let us know what you think the result will be on Sunday.

The have played a tough match in Moscow but that was Tuesday night so they should have recovered by Sunday – unfortunately!
We do have a history of doing well against Liverpool at home – lets hope it continues.

I would love a win on sunday against the bindippers…but I’ll take a solid heartfelt performance…

…maybe some of that unexpectedness we’re lacking

I was at that 2-0 game. But, I think the new Liverpool is better. Is Mane playing? He dangerous – in many ways 😉

Can we win? Sure. Odds are we’ll lose.

We must believe and be lucky and play 100%. This is where Rafa must substantiate his deification.

it will be a very tough game and we will need to keep it very compact to close down the space. They have bags of pace and with mane back its goin to be a lot tougher. unfortunately i think coutinho will be the difference
