Middle East Investment Advisor Amanda Staveley At Newcastle Game Today

The Chronicle is reporting that Amanda Staveley is at the game today and she is an investment advisor for companies residing in the middle east.

The reason it could be important is she may be working for one of the companies who are looking at a takeover deal reported to be ongoing at Newcastle.

Companies could also be looking at simply investing in Newcastle without Mike Ashley losing the overall ownership of the club.

Only today there were reports in the Sunday papers that there are a number of would-be investors interested in buying Newcastle.

Some have already signed non-disclosure agreements so they can look more closely at Newcastle’s financial records.

44 year-old Investment advisor Armanda Stavely

This is some of her background taken from Wikipedia:

Staveley played a prominent role in the investment of £7.3 billion in Barclays by the ruling families of Abu Dhabi and Qatar, and by the Qatari sovereign wealth fund.

Staveley’s firm, PCP Capital Partners, acted for Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the Abu Dhabi royal family, who invested £3.5 billion to control 16% of the bank.

It’s certainly looking like companies are interested in investing in Newcastle United – at last.

The attendance of Prince Andrew’s former girlfriend , Amanda Stavely , at SJP , is intriguing as talk grows that Newcastle are ready to bring in new investors or sell up and bring an end to Mike Ashley’s tenure in charge.

Ashley had said to Sky Sports this summer: “If somebody would like come along and take this seat and fund Newcastle with a nought on the end with their wealth more than me, I will not stand in Newcastle United’s way.

IMO MA will try to sell a minority/majority stake in the club but keep the SD livery.

The original Chronicle article says “was in the stands for today’s game against Liverpool….”.

Oops, think somebody has published their fiction a few hours early by mistake.

Reckon that’s why Rafa has gone for the more attacking midfield duo of Merino/Shelvey. He knows if the Toon put in an exciting performance backed by a vociferous crowd, it may just convince her to make a move. An electric St James’ with Merino and Shelvey the conductors. Here’s hoping!

Either 3-2 us or them. Could even go as a 4-3. We will score this game, defensively they aren’t great. But we will concede aswell. Joselu to score please.

This might be the first game that we control this season. We just have to be wary of them on the counter attack if that’s to be true.

over the years this fixture has most of the time brought a good couples of goals if i’m not mistaken. Will we be seeing goals today? With this liverpool line up,no doubt there are some good scorers but can that be said for us?Still hope JOSELU will bring a big cheer to us tonight with his overall contribution.

Rafa handling of players recently is surely suspect. Mbemba has been doing a great job and is immediately dropped for the useless manquillo. Not even on bench.

And perez is starting game after game though he’s useless. And how on earth diame gets ahead of mitrovic even on the bench?

Rafa seems to have a grudge against these players.

If, as I suspect, you’re a leading media writer, you really should get them to control the timing when publishing your articles. I could’ve sworn I’d read the words you’d posted on this thread in one of the papers today.
