Newcastle United are reportedly one of four top clubs chasing Sheffield United’s 20-year-old attacking midfielder David Brooks.
David is a Welsh U21 International who has played 12 times for the Blades’ first team this season but only 16 times in total.
But he will be one of the future at Newcastle and three other clubs – Liverpool, Arsenal, and West Ham are also reported to be interested in the player.
Brooks is small at 5ft 5ins tall.
He was born in Warrington and is eligible to play for both his England and for Wales since his mother is from Llangollen.

He’s also played for the England U20 side but was recently called up to the full Welsh squad for the two World Cup Qualifiers against Georgia and Ireland.
Newcastle are always interested in bringing in younger players who have yet to reach their potential.
It allows Rafa and his expert coaching staff to develop the player into what we hope will become a first team player ay the club.
But Newcastle have not been too successful in doing that over the last 10 years, but we expect it to improve with Rafa Benitez at the helm.
Liverpool are said to be willing to bid £10M for him in the January transfer window and are reported to have been keen on the player all season.
Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder does not want to lose the youngster:
“We are building something here and, of course, there will be casualties along the way.”
“But David won’t be going anywhere in January.”
Liverpool are said to be favorites to sign the 20-year-old
