It’s going to be a very tough game on Monday night at Turf Moor even though Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson for the first time this season is taking Newcastle to actually win a game.
We don’t know whether that’s good news or bad news.
Burnley’s classy manager Sean Dyche, who has been linked heavily this week with the vacant Everton job, has given his press conference today for the game on Monday night.
Sean says the best thing that happened to Newcastle this summer was when the transfer window closed on August 31st.
Rafa Benitez then closed ranks and began in earnest, training and coaching his side, and we have done very well – even though by the end of August we had lost the first two games.
We did the same thing last season, but in the subsequent 7 games we have lost only once at Brighton, and we have four wins and two draws – 14 points – not too bad at all.
Sean Dyche – Burnley’s talented manager
This is some of what Sean has said today during his press conference:
“It seems to me the biggest breakthrough for Newcastle was the transfer window closing.”
“Everything then seemed to calm down and they could get on with it with the players they have got.” “They have a good solid structure and shape with Rafa, which he is renowned for.”
“Rafa also has good players, players who want to do well in this division.” “It will be a difficult game, as they all are, and we will have to be on top of our game again.”
“We have seen how tough this league is, it goes to show the sides who have had tough starts this season, that just shows the quality in the Premier League.”
“Nothing has changed (bring linked withy Everton job).” “You are flattered by the fact the work you do is recognized but it’s not our story.”
“I’ve been through it several times now and I just continue to get on with the job here.”
“I’m surprised to be here for five years in the modern world, but equally, I don’t think fans want managers changing every week.”
Burnley’s top striker Chris Wood, bought in the summer from Leeds United for a massive £15M is doubtful for the game.
Their other big striker Sam Vokes, a former Newcastle target when he was at Bournemouth, will be fit to play in the game.
Paul Merson thinks Newcastle will win this game 2-1 although Burnley are the favorites in the betting.
We hope Paul is right with his prediction – at least for this week!

Not on the wind up at all and don’t claim to be ITK. Just passing on what I’ve heard Just like Hibbit has. We seem to be on the same page in regards to what we’ve heard.
Both must be on the wind up then if that’s how you see it!

Open Game Launcher (another app entirely separate from Game Optimizing Service) and untick the ‘Receive Marketing Information’ option from settings. This will disable ads over push notifications.
In case Game Launcher happens to be missing from your list of apps, it probably hasn’t been activated yet. Here is how you can do this:
Head to Settings.
Find Advanced Features and select the Games section.
Enable Game Launcher.

Comment #43Shire; It’s not how I see it , I’ll like a bit gossip and speculation. I was just trying to give you prior notice of the fury that can be unleashed on this blog by people who don’t like a bit of conjecture especially if it does not come to fruition.
Some people got hounded off this blog by sharing information they may have privy to.
What some people fail to realise is that the information may have been genuine but for some reason the deals don’t go through.

All I’m doing is passing on what I’ve heard. If all comes to fruition, it’s gonna be a massive sigh of relief to know we’re rid of the slug

Butch Cassidy was born Robert Leroy Parker, in Utah, in 1866. His parents were Maximilian Parker and Ann Sinclair Gillies, born in Newcastle in 1849.
Ann was the daughter of Robert Gillies and Jane Sinclair, both from Stirlingshire. Robert married Jane in about 1840, but by the late 1840s the family moved to Newcastle.
The 1851 census shows the Gillies family living in Brandling Village, Jesmond.

Comment #62It’s 846 BC and three viking longships pull up
on Tynemouth beach
Two of the ships are pristine with gleaming sails
and shiny oars
The third is tattered and dull looking
The leader springs on to the sand and bellows
“Ship one pillage
“Ship two murder”
an oarsman in boat three hangs his head and croaks
“oh no not rape again”

Comment #65Should a takeover happen and we get big funds. There will still be an art to investment that will need to be grasped.
Man city didnt have a lot of clout when they were bought but they gradually invested in the same level of talent each phase to get where they are.
It could go wrong if we just start throwing silly money for stars and have them mix with lesser players. Conversely we dont want a team of individuals.
Tottenham i think are the example to look at. Since they squandered the bale money, theyve focussed on recruiting young, hungry player with great potential but not the rough diamonds we alwya shoot for. I do think its important that we still invest in players that are yet to reach their prime rather than those in their prime.

Whilst I understand you have info and totally believe what you say, the one thing in this entire takeover talk is that amanda Staveley’s interest has been well documented despite her signing the NDC.
However, there has been not a sniff of the other so called 4 consortia who have supposed also signed NDCs too. I wonder who they are and whether they have even mkre to offer.
