Manager Hints At An Effective Game Plan For A Result At Turf Moor

If Newcastle can beat Burnley on Monday night at Turf Moor, we will go up into 6th place in the Premier League with 17 points from our first 10 games which will be a very good start to the season.

So much for the pundits who predicted we will be fighting relegation this season – wrong again.

And we should see another good game plan from Rafa that will hopefully allow Newcastle to do well tomorrow night.

The game is being televised live around the world as the only Premier League game tomorrow.

Lat season Burnley finished 5th bottom of the league and got most of their points at home.

They had 11 wins in total last season, and 10 of them were at home, but this season they have only won once in four home games.

Rafa Benitez – effective game plan?

They have won two games away from home in 5 tries and beat Chelsea 3-2 in their first game of the season in August.

This is what Rafa Benitez has said about the game tomorrow night:

“It’s interesting that one year you are good at home and the next you are really good away.”

“It means that they know the division and they know how to cope with the pressure when they play away.”

“It could be that the other teams know how they play at home now so they are stronger.” “Hopefully we can be just as strong.”

“It’s really important to start well because you play with more confidence so you never know.”

“You see Leicester won the title when they started with confidence and you couldn’t stop them by the end.”

“I think it’s a very good thing for us and them.” “We’ll now try to keep the momentum.”

Rafa will have watched some of Burnley’s home games and worked out a game plan that can be successful tomorrow night.

It will help that our players are confident after a good start to the season.

We are going to win 3-0 with Ritchie scoring from 3 penalties. I have a feeling that the rules have been changed and that refs have to do a catchup with the pens we should have had this season. Mind you I was only told that by a cousins from a best friend via her talking dog that met a dog who belonged to a high ranking member of the refs association whilst out walking it, so don’t hold me to that prediction.

I liked the way Liverpool is playing this season…yesterday was no exception!

Perez would benefit from a rest and it would be fitting to see a 4-3-3 ala Klopp being implemented…

It would give us the option of Merino, Shelvey and Hayden all in midfield!
