Report – Newcastle Interested In Signing Manchester United Star In January

Newcastle have been linked in the Star with Manchester United left-back Like Shaw who seems to have no future under Jose Mourinho at the Red Devils.

In fact, the 22-year-old has been told he can leave the club which he joined from Southampton back in the summer of 2014.

At that time Shaw signed a four-year contract for a fee rumored to be around £30M and at the time that made him the most expensive teenager in world football.

Luke Shaw – Newcastle interested in signing him in January?

However, he has not had a good time at the red devils, especially since Jose Mourinho joined the club almost 18 months ago and luke may want to move on to resurrect his career.

Whether Newcastle will go after him depends on whether he is rated by Rafa Benitez, but the 22-year-old has shown in the past that he is a good player who may have just lost his way.

It’s also thought the Red Devils would want around £20M for Shaw and for such a good young player, in today’s inflated transfer prices, that could even be a good deal for Newcastle.

Other clubs said to be interested in Shaw include his former club Southampton and Everton.

We may bid for Luke Shaw if Rafa gets some hefty transfer funds from potential new owners in January.

Let’s hope that happens.

It’s not meant to be factually correct. It’s speculation.
But, as I say what else explains it.
The owner I think has given up.

    Posada,
Ok, put another way, what has he to gain by not putting any money in and watching them slide or just selling up for 20M and getting the do it out of there, either way he’s going to lose his money, I’m really not sure how it all works.

You’re right, eleventh is fine, for now. But five points is not much of a difference this early. I don’t see any outright weak teams in the PL…

I do agree we should be ok. Though it will be a right scrap for points in the end.

Come on, a win next game.

    1-0, mitro.

I think it all comes down to the fact that no one wants to buy it.
    Not even for 20 million.
The owner has had enough. You could hardly blame him. He bought one player for 12 million and he went to prison.
Also, many potential owners now know that football clubs will never generate money.
The more that goes in, the more that goes out.
Unless you have huge sums of cash and are looking for a trophy asset then don’t bother, as you will not be able to compete with the big boys.
All that said, will we end up with that type of owner ?

Thanks for the Companies House link. Fraid the only thing that jumped out at me was Ms S’s residency in Dubai and if the Emirates is her centre of operations…… We can only speculate on who’s involved in any PCP supported syndicate as far as any potential purchase of NUFC – if at all.

Just hope his tackling is better than his driving !

Manchester United outcast Luke Shaw reportedly crashed his car into Phil Jones’s £200,000 Bentley at the club’s Carrington training complex last month.
The incident, which is said to have caused minor damage to both vehicles, took place after the Red Devils’ 2-0 win away at Swansea City in the EFL Cup on October 24.
According to The Sun, Shaw – who only passed his driving test last year – reversed his Range Rovers into the back of his teammate’s car.
A source is quoted by the newspaper as saying: “Luke’s concentration slipped and he clattered into Jones’s car. He can afford the repair bill and there’s no hard feelings. Nothing seems to be going poor Luke’s way.”
Former Southampton full-back Shaw played the final three minutes of the cup tie against Swansea – one of just two appearances all season after falling out of favour under boss Jose Mourinho.

Last night a few asked what attributes Mitro brings to the table.

He’s better than joselu, Gayle and Perez. He has a better scoring record than the 3 of them at the highest level including in the PL. He adds more as an attacking threat as he gets more assists.

Unfortunately we don’t have shearer so it’s pointless comparing Mitro and shearer, if we are making that comparison than we might as well say shola is better than joselu.

The comparisons were based on disciplinary record
Diego Costa is probably a bigger dick than Mitro when it comes
    to discipline
However he’s electric in front of goal
You could never accuse Mitro of being electric.
When you are a Suarez or Costa you are pardoned a lot of shite
When you think that shite comes first like Mitro does , then managers
    aren’t going to pick you.

    Jib,
Is Meyler normally the captain but was suspended last time, I asked on here whether Clarke had been captain before, I don’t think he had. Either way it bodes well for us that we have another captain in the side. Going to be an interesting tussle between him and Lejuene, I hope Clarke wins it personally. I just don’t want to see Lejuene called a flop if Clarke ups his game to see Lejuene sit out.
