Benitez Talks About His Game Plan To Win At Old Trafford

Rafa Benitez has talked about his game plan for today’s game at Old Trafford against his former rival Jose Mourinho.

And it’s not too much of a secret that Newcastle must defend well – better than we have done in our last two games.

Those both ended in 1-0 defeats at Burnley and at home to Bournemouth – two games we could have won.

We cannot just defend at Old Trafford and park the bus because we must offer a threat going forward – probably on quick breakaways.

This is what Rafa said yesterday about this afternoon’s game:

“Our idea is to try to get three points.” “We know that will be very difficult against a very good team that score a lot of goals.”

“They don’t concede too many.”

“The way to do that, get three points, you have to score so you have to attack.”

“Do we want to attack them from the first minute and stay on top of them?” “Of course, we’d like to but maybe we can’t.”

“We have to be realistic and have a game plan to defend well and try to counter-attack well to score goals.”

“I wouldn’t say how many chances would be a good return.” “Sometimes you can have one chance and win it.”

“To be sure we have to make sure we create something going forward in attack.” “The good thing about this team is every player knows his role.”

“They’re training in the same way and know what they have to do.”

“They train hard and they get more or less the same as match fitness.” “They will at least have the idea of what to do and how to do it.”

Three in five fans think we will lose this game today, but if we can play somewhere near our best form and defend really well, we can still get something out of this difficult fixture.

Bit 5hit here at work today, someone screwed one of the lads tool boxes and he’s lost everything.

A few grands worth of tools gone, making it impossible for him to make any money before Xmas.

Some right 5hit bags around, hope karma gets them a good un.

Won’t cover on a site unless in a iso container, most keep them in site boxes to start early and finish late. Means you can do more on piece work, it’s a risk but usually there’s some sort of security.

Its definitely someone off site as the box wasn’t in plain site, hidden out the way. Someone from here has done it or passed the info on.

    I. Learned my lesson years ago, take the expensive stuff home.

OP that is shit. Happened to me just as I finished my apprenticeship as an electrician donkey’s years ago and I was devastated. Starting from scratch isnt cheap, especially at this time of year.

I’m guessing insurance wont cover it? Have you/they thought about setting up a JustGiving or GoFundMe page. A few shares on Facebook and Twitter by their mates and people will help out.
Also, my mate did a shout out on Facebook for her friend who had all of her professional make-up kit stolen (that stuff costs a fortune!). She asked any other professional MU artists if they had any kit they werent using and within a week the lass had a full kit again. In this day and age where the loudest arseholes get the most press it’s easy to forget that most people are good and will help others when they can.
