Newcastle Fans Have Their Say On Manchester United Game

Newcastle take on Manchester United at Old Trafford later this afternoon and hopefully we can take something out of this difficult game.

Newcastle will be without Dummett, Merino, Lascelles, and Atsu but there’s a massive chance for some Newcastle heroes at Old Trafford today.

The Red Devils will want all 3 points after losing 1-0 at Chelsea last time out, and we have narrowly lost our last two games.

That’s after we made a terrific start in the first nine games when we picked up 14 points.

Hopefully, the lads can play well and at least avoid defeat.

Here are some typical tweets from the Newcastle fans.

There’s nothing like being confident.

Well the best we can hope for today is a shot on target. I fear the worst!

Don’t see any point in picking a Rafa team for today but the team I’d like to see is

    Darlow

    Yedlin Lejeune Clarke Mbemba

    Ritchie Shelvey Hayden Saivet

    Gayle Mitrovic

Doubt if I’m even close but you just never know with Rafa.

    ???? ?? ????? ???? ?? ??? ???? ?? ??? ???? ?? ??? ??? ?????

Reckon there might be a few goals in the game so 3-2 to us.

And first game on in MOTD tonight

All of those question were quotes in Hindi but obviously they didn’t come out as such. 🙂

    @Ronaldo Aarons
I noticed last season Mitrovic has exceptionally good record in the games he’s started under Benitez. He’s also set up loads of goals in those 15 or so games. I know he set up 6 in his 10 starts last year, although he’s probably picked up 2 or 3 red cards in those games too. Anyway it’s better than Joselu who does sweet FA & might as well get sent off every game for all the difference he makes.

wouldn’t be much point putting an article with our opinions as we’ve read them all anyway.

burnley winning again somehow. glad I forgot to bet against them. they’re the only team apart from palace & brighton maybe who aren’t roughly where i’d expected them to be in the league. I don’t think they have a single player i’d like to have in our team. a fair few of them can do the water-carrier job, but that’s about it. it’s amazing how much better athletes can do when they believe they’re competing for something.

they remind me of the year we came fifth when we got off to a really lucky start winning lots of games we should have lost. although 2nd half of the season when ben arfa finally ousted obertan and cisse came in we thoroughly deserved all the points we got.

there is a 7 point gap between 7th and 8th so if we are 8th we will be top of Premier league division 2. Burnley are gate crashing the top 6.

at least that gap above the relegation zone will remain the same at the end of today if we lose although West Ham play at Watford tomorrow.
