Who Was Newcastle’s Best Player In Shocking 3-0 Home Defeat To Watford

It wasn’t what we were expecting and we were hoping for a win today agents the Hornets after three successive defeats.

Not only did we go down to our fourth successive defeat but we were completely outclassed by Watford and it could have been more than 3-0.

Newcastle must get a grip quickly since we have 9 games coming up through January 1st and the last thing we want it to be fighting against relegation this season.

Nobody wants another relegation fight but maybe Mike Ashley should not have been the miser last summer – we may not have the players.

That may even cause Amanda Staveley to think twice about buying Newcastle – these defeats have come at a very bad time for Newcastle.

If we can beat West Brom on Tuesday it should lift our supports a little, but they played well today in the 1-1 draw away at Tottenham.

I wish Rafa would try 3 at the back:

    _______________Darlow
    ______Mbemba_Lascelles_Clark
    Yedlin_________________________Ritchie
    ___________Shelvey_Merino
    ______Murphy__________Aarons
    ______________Mitrovic

Jacob Murphy did well today and was one bright spark. Watford were so much better than us today, the first goal was a great move but as Ritchie seems too do a bit switched off. Joselu just needs to be dropped he was terrible and had a good chance early on. Rafa should of made subs earlier but when he did the team actually looked a bit better with more energy. Mitro did more than Joselu has done in the last 4 games. We have to move on to the West Brom game as I can see this being a 6 pointer.

On another not, thought it was pathetic how many fans left early today, I can understand we were terrible but support the lads.

Shearer is spot on, wasn’t long ago a few of us were saying we are compact and won’t get battered with rafa in charge.

Today we were awful and should have lost by more than 3. Silva And the new age style his teams play outfoxed rafa’s compact style. 7 goals conceded in 2 games is a shocker.

Brighton did well today even though they lost at OT

At the start of the season I called the people who said we would finish top ten idiots and morons then after the good start apologised. Well I am officially revoking that apology as the lack of quality which was so clear is killling us. Need to buy a top quality no10 and st in Jan to stay up. We have the worst side in the league possibly on par with Swansea and Huddersfield.

Could you please stop posting what Alan Shearer has to say…Let him keep his opinions for MOTD. He whinges on enough on the BBC …don’t want to see his mug all over this site. It’s as though his skewed opinion is more important than the fans here.

I don’t forget the way he went on with Bobby Robson ..Selfish Bloke. Who’s he gonna put the boot into next , Rafa ?

Ritchie always works hard. I think he’s just fatigued at the minute. That’s why I was hoping he would have been rotated out for Aarons against Watford.
