Our Man Of The Match The Only Positive Yesterday

Jacob Murphy got his second start in a row against Watford yesterday with Christian Atsu out with an injury, and he again made good use of the opportunity.

Murphy showed he is an attacking threat but he still has a lot to learn and he has a way to go before reaching his full potential.

Jacob needs to be more effective with his defensive duties, but he is a willing lad and has shown the fans he can become a very good player for us in the future.

There’s nothing better than Jacob starting these games to improve his confidence and his form too.

In a game where Newcastle looked second best in every facet of the game, Jacob was the star man for us with a good 42% of the vote.

Jacob Murphy – Man of the Match yesterday – well done

    Catchy,
Where did I run to, just because someone doesn’t see the game the same way as you they’re a numpty? What makes your football knowledge so much more superior.

After the last 2 matches Murphy deserves a little run in the team. If atsu was back next game I would suggest he replace Ritchie rather Murphy at this moment in time.

why sneak away the other night, when i asked you to stop with the Shteve digs and my so called superior football knowledge. My answer from then still stands very.

here is a copy, but i expect you to run away again like you always seem to.

Wow, just Wow anyone who thinks our strongest team contains both Murphy and Joselu needs to go and take a long hard look in the mirror, they will see a crazy person staring back at them.
2 players that between them might be visible for a total of 5 minutes

    Catchy,
What makes your football knowledge so superior to others that theirs can be dismissed out of hand. You work on boats and coach a boys team, oh and you backed McLaren to the hilt!

give a rest with the shteve bashing. i went with him because he was the best of a bad bunch, as records go.

we were never in for a Rafa type manager, and in fact if you want to go check you will see i said all along that NUFC was still a big club for big managers to come to with Ashley still here , oh and you always said we would ONLY get joke in here pardew types.

and it’s not football knowledge you need just a pair of eyes you numpty, one doesn’t seem to know where the goal is and cannot hold a ball up has zero pace, and the other plays hide and seek when ever he is on the pitch.

but i have questioned your eye sight for a long time, you do come across as a very blinkered person.

Murphy stands out because everything else was so dire, his performance would not be considered outstanding. More like he produced as much as you would normally expect from a player and showed the potential to improve, but a goal would have been more worthy of MOTM.

Leave out the bickering please. It’s just a blog lol. Who cares if opinions differ or certain posters don’t like each other and get on. It’s a blog lol. You’re still able to get on with life. Don’t like a poster, ignore. Simple!

Can’t wait for dummett to come back and reclaim the left back spot. Hope his critics decrease when he is back, felt he was unfairly criticised too often in the past.

If he starts José Luis Sanmartín Mato again we won’t score. Him starting gives any team the impetus to attack as they know the defense needs less help and can afford to commit extra men forward.

    Catchy,
He was the only manager prepared to have his players bought for him and to be told who he could and couldn’t talk to. We had to wait patiently for Derby to sack him. Wretch of a guy.

Dummet is worser than Manquillo at left back. We’ll have to use Mbemba there until January.
