After Newcastle’s heroics at the Hawthorns on Tuesday night, we now have a much tougher game at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.
In the games against the top sides, we have to try to defend well to keep the game tight and not concede too many goals.
Our goal difference is still fairly good at -6, and it could be crucial as to where we finish in the league table next May.
It will also be interesting to see which team Rafa will choose for the game in London with the manager making five changes for the West Brom game following the debacle at home to Watford.
Mikel Merino – made the difference on Tuesday night
We have three games in 8 days to play from last Saturday, so some players needed a rest on Tuesday night which is why Rafa said he made the changes.
But some of our players also have not been playing well over the last couple of games, but thankfully the lads did much better at West Brom.
We would take a point at Chelsea – it would be an excellent result for us.
Mikel Merino made the difference at West Brom – maybe he can do the same thing on Saturday?
What do you think?
