Newcastle need a win and as soon as possible.
That’s after we have gone seven games and picked up just one point and we have only that single 1-0 win at home to Crystal Palace on October 21 in the last 10 games.
So a win is due and hopefully, we can get the win at home to Everton on Wednesday night – 7:45pm kickoff.
That will help raise the morale of Newcastle fans everywhere and the 3 points will take Newcastle up to 18 points from 17 games played.
However, it will not be easy with former Newcastle manager Sam Allardyce now in charge of the side.
The Toffees have two wins and a draw at Anfield in their first three games under big Sam.

Comment #242Hope to hell we get three points ,not because I hate fat sham …just to ram it back at those who seem to be revelling in our poor run to help what ever mis guided agenda they seek.
Sadly a good few on here .
For some reason I cannot fathom we get a manager of rafa’s calibre and the keyboard tacticians know better.
This level of pure toxic energy transmits to the players ,have we learned nothing?
It feels like the way another fine man was shoved out because we missed the champions league .
This is even more unfair as at least sir Bobby actually was backed with the signings he wanted
Call yourselves fans eh ?

Comment #243What worries me about the “Rafa Out” brigade is that they have no idea who would replace him. Pulis? Really?
I don’t think any of us understand the reasoning behind some of his team selections, but wanting to kick the bloke out right when we’re (hopefully) on the verge of something big is sheer madness.
Remember too, Rafa and Stavely go back a long way, maybe he’s an integral part of the plan?

Spot on!
There has been a ten fold increase in appearances of lurking posters, trumpeting ‘I saw this coming…I said this 18 months ago…’ Etc etc.
If people did their actual job and spent more time and energy supporting the team through its struggles than battering everything they do we would have a stronger, UNITED front.

Comment #245Some self-promotion going on here in earnest trying to “prove” they are right about Benitez even if it means buying into Ashley’s financial model. What’s obvious is that none of the rafa-bashers make any mention of squad quality or the lack of purchases in key positions. In fact some even promote the idea that Rafa was given huge funds and was profligate with the cash spending it on expensive rubbish, but then in the next breath saying he’s wasting season-saving stars on the bench! Although to be fair these fantastic players he is supposedly leaving out in the cold weren’t his purchases. They were some previous managers great buys……..

Comment #249Never bother even checking the blog during a match as its toxic .
Christ knows what kicks in after a loss on here so I tend to give it 3 days before looking in ,hopefully by then the sense has come back to some.

Yeah I have noticed a lot of the old faces crawling back out banging the drum .
Chelsea fans are scum in my book and it’s well documented the way they treated a guy who sorted them out and won a uefa cup .
We sadly have elements as bad .Its just embarrassing at times to read .
Now more than ever we should behind him and this team ,whoever is suggesting this side don’t care ? There is no comparison to some of the sides we watched with zero fight in the last few years
Some players ,yes are clearly not prem standard but I have never faulted the effort since Rafa got here.
Let’s see what we can grab points wise til the window opens and support what we have .
