Another Defeat – Newcastle Move Into Relegation Zone

Newcastle lost their 8th game of the last 9 yesterday at the Emirates but it was only 1-0 when most pundits thought it would be worse.

Newcastle played quite well but each defeat we get we are digging a bigger hole to get out of.

We are now 3rd bottom and unless things are turned around quickly it will prove a huge test to stay in the Premier League this season.

Mesit Ozil – scores winner after 23 minutes

It was on a day when both West Ham and Crystal Palace won 3-0 away from home and go above Newcastle in the table.

And Huddersfield Town won 4-1 at Watford so unless we start picking up points we could be in a poor position come January.

We also cannot see any takeover happening in the next two months.

If we can survive Amanda Staveley may make a move in May but the more defeats we rack up the less chance of any takeover.

This is not positive but it’s the reality – unfortunately.

We already dived in to a relegation zone when we lost to Bournmouth and Watford.
Ralf Ragnick will be my first choice. Followed by Thomas Tuchel and Christophe Galtier in case he gets sacked.

I seems a lot of people believe we will sign a lot of players on loan this coming January so here’s a few guidelines:

A PL club may only sign 2 players long term on loan from other PL clubs. That’s 2 in total and not 2 from each club.

The rest needs to come from foreign leagues.

Then there’s the registration rules to take in to consideration.

Lets get this takeover done first before we talk manager !

There’s a January window and other things to work our first.

At least the takeover will change the dynamics of the whole discussion and the argument that should Rafa leave or be replaced we can only attract a Pulis!

do you think the managers you list would do any better with this squad if Ashley refuses to spend in january

What is the logic if MA refuses to spend much in Jan ?
A third relegation reduces his Club’s value significantly
Doesn’t seem like a very good business model to me.
What would he gain for his parsimonious actions.
    I just don’t get it
