We didn’t bother covering the nonsense that Richard Keys wrote recently saying that it was Rafa’s fault that Newcastle are where we are in the league table, and it was nothing to do with owner Mike Ashley.
And there are going to be a lot more pundits taking shots at both Newcastle and Rafa as long as we are in the relegation zone – so be prepared.
The best thing is not to bother reading the nonsense.
It’s definitely a dangerous situation at Newcastle at the moment, but nothing that Rafa cannot fix by getting Newcastle on a good run of games again – wins are what will take us clear of the relegation zone.
And as Rafa keeps saying – every single game is important.
We have to keep supporting Rafa and the players, and however poorly one of our players may have played in a game it doesn’t help by hanging the player out to dry on Twitter.
That only allows articles to be written that makes things a lot worse.
Support the lads and support Rafa and we cannot go too far wrong.
Standard media set up. Keys assigns Benitez ‘Super Manager’ status then uses this to attack his abilities and to promote his premise that British Managers are doing better. If Keys could answer the following – who in the league has a worse squad than #nufc?

Does Richard Keys believe #nufc would be better off with a British coach, or has he airbrushed the Souness, Kinnear, McClaren and Carver reigns out of his mind?

I love it when pundits feel obliged to comment on #NUFC despite not even bothering to check basic facts and pretending they’re not being fueled by an agenda we have nothing to do with, à la Richard Keys’ infatuation with overrated British managers. Love it.

Quotes from Richard Keys who left his cancer-stricken wife for a 27 year old.
“Women don’t know the offside rule.”
“Did you smash it?”
“(Ranieri) will be one of first sacked” (he won the Prem)
“The run #NUFC are on is NOTHING to do with Ashley..Rafa this is down to you.”
